So episode 2 is out...who do you think is the killer?

My guess is:

Beauty. In the first episode she is leaving the apartment and dodges all your questions and what not, then Beast is all like, "DUDE WHERE DID SHE GO?". Couple a hours later there's a head on the door steps. Then in Episode 2 Beauty is at the scene of the crime yet again, and claims to have heard nothing.

Yeah I could be grasping at straws, but for those whom have read the comics know that it's not implausible to think this.

So uh...go!?

It'd be a shock. That's just so out of her character... well what we know of her character. Who knows, maybe she has a dark side we are not yet aware off.

I personally think it might be a character we didn't see coming, like Toad. The obvious choices of course would be The Lumberjack, Bluebeard, and Dee and Dum's boss.

I'm thinking we haven't met the killer yet. I know Bluebeard, Ichabod, and Woody all have chopping or severed heads in their backgrounds, but I just can't finger any of them with any sort of confidence or explanation.

Why would Ichabod need the storybook as a reference to reenact his Snow White sex fantasies? He's know her for centuries and he knows the true story of her escapades with the seven dwarves. Why would he be trying to replicate the mundy version? My theory is that that's not Ichabod. Instead, I'm feeling we have some double glamour elaborate framing sex shenanigans going on.

For the moment I'm running on the assumption that Telltale isn't going to toss out comic continuity so that puts a lot of the cast pretty far down the list. I mean, I wouldn't put it past them to let the killer get away with it and maintain a position of power (ie Bluebeard) but without stronger evidence, I'm not betting on it. Doesn't leave the field wide open, and none with an obvious motive, so I'm going for someone we haven't seen yet.

I doubt we have seen the Killer so far, we have a whole list of potential suspects but many dont really fit the MO of a killer, let alone a serial killer. The Huntsman is out because, quite frankly, he is a bad man and a dark character, but he isnt a killer which becomes evident near the end of episode 1. Similarly Bluebeard and Crane are too obvious as potential suspects, bluebeard especially though there is little to go on. Another suspect is Beast, given the backstory would make it plausible, though the motive is lacking.

Basicly, out of all the potential suspects, there are none which have the means, motivation and reason for the murders, which implies that, while some may be connected to the case in some way, none of them are the murderer and we havent seen him yet.

I doubt it's Crane. Anything shown for him would be too obvious, it's more likely he's being blackmailed since he is the deputy mayor (and really the acting mayor since King Cole is out). The same goes for Bluebeard. As easy as it would be to implicate him, the killings aren't exactly his MO. Yes, there is the beheading, but he didn't behead random prostitutes in his story, he killed his wives.

I'm actually willing to bet it's not a Fable that's doing the killing, but a Mundie. Mostly, as pointed out, the whole thing with Lily was a re-enactment of the mundie version. Likely, it would be some Mundie who pierced the glamour and is going about to get something. For some reason.

Also i guess:
Ass-skin girl isn't dead. Someone else was killed and glamoured in her stead as well, like Snow.

The Mirror said he couldn't show her to us, even when we had the head. It could show us the dead King, her father - so we know it hasn't problems showing dead people - he was blocked by magic.

She was kidnapped, not murdered.

That might point to Snow not being Snow at the moment too either (She couldn't be found by mirror and was unaccounted for for a few hours).. GOD DAMN CONSPIRACY-THEORIES, i am sinking in. I don't know whats real anymore.

To be fair, that may be part of the whole "Lips are sealed" spell that's affecting all the girls working for Georgie, not just Faith.

Hm, likely...
Should the spell end with removal of life and/or the band? Was the head bundled with the band? I guess we really need to talk with the doctor soon, also we need to consult a witch.

Ok, now back into spoiler

We have gotten our first good clue regarding the murderer though, last session. Courtesy of Toad Junior. What character is accompanied by something only he can hear laughing... or is known to be insane and hearing voices?

Im putting it all on crane.

that in a secret known only to him. ( he changed the story through deception and lies)

he wasnt chased by the headless horseman.
He is the headless (whores)man.

fulfilling his fantasies and beheading any who laugh at his escapades.
the famous story was him running from one that wasnt quite dead.

but to protect his reputation he lied about the story and changed it.

im voting its all a play on words and hes trying to protect his dignity.

To be honest I reckon that was just a patsy, the identity of whom will just be another piece of the puzzle.

My money is on a conspiracy of some form or another and I'm guessing:

Bluebeard is going to be heavily involved or even at the head of it all, but there will be many culpable villians to bring to justice! Maybe it'll be some sort of classism against certain Fables? A group looking to "clear out the dead wood" or something of that nature.

Lilly's glamour didn't fade immediately after she died, but rules like that are always fluid when the plot involves magic. We'll get confirmation from Swineheart and proceed to beat a confirmation out of Georgie.

I want to accuse the Crooked Man of dumping the body, simply because I hope he lives up to his recent horror motif.
