Pretty much about time they released a sequel to the best DS game ever made. Might actually provide incentive for me to play with that 3DS I stupidly bought.

Honestly, TWEWY was one of my absolute favourite games of all time. I would throw my money at them if they even announced a second one.

count me uninterested; the last game a tepid, irritating bore due to its lackluster narrative and writing, annoying, shallow characters, and gaudy art design. The combat was decent, but that wasn't enough to carry it.
I had a feeling when Square put Neku into KH 3d that they were "testing the waters", I was sure of this when I realized pretty much all the other characters were also in KH 3d, not just Neku, Joshua and Rhyme. Beat and Shiki are also included.
Nintendo did a similar thing by putting Pit in Brawl.
I'll be glad if the game is actually made and all of this isn't just wishful thinking.

I hope it happens. I have a 3DS but I think it would do best in a regular DS format (which can also be played on the 3DS) I can't see 3D adding much to this one
Wonder how many games Nomura is gonna allude to before he finishes the ones he's already working on. How were the launch sales of FF Versus btw? What? It's in its 7th year of development and still not out? Oh, never mind then. Well then how about KH3? Oh, that one isn't out either? Well, cause we'll just have to settle for more shitty, overpriced, FF13-2 DLC, cause we all know everyone is dying for some more of that game.
I hope Joshua brings his jesus beams to the party, because they were already fun without actually being able to directly control them, let's see how they like it in 3d...

Fun fact, it was actualy revealed in the game that different reaper districts can make up different rules for the game. Meaning that a sequel can still be original.
TWEWY is one of the greatest games on the old DS system and still holds up in presentation and gameplay pretty well and a sequel would just be AWESOME, especially because there's SO MUCH unexplored lore in the game that it leaves A LOT of design possibilities open.
