I love my boss, because yes I my boss for once does nót suck ass.
I love science and all it's progress.
I love crazy ass humour.
I love the history of this universe, this world world and all it's species.
I love steampunk.
I love Batman...in a manly kind of way.
I love Doctor Who, in a everyone-has-a-gay-moment kind of way.
I love Battlestar Galactica in the most fanboyish way you can imagine.
I love Star Wars and all it's freaky alien races.
I love Star Trek for Picard and Kirk and all those other fantastic Starfleet captains.
I love rain and how it clatters on the roof, lulling me to sleep.
I love my warm cosy bed on a Sunday morning.
I love warm comforting showers.
And I love to go to my warm, cosy bed again and read Storm Front again in an hour or so, friggin' love that book.

Well, that's a nice piece of optimism at the end of the day, right after a fantastic round of Versus on L4D2, my first round ever no less, and I 'pwned the shit' out of them, so to speak. 't Was glorious.

Human beings in general are selfish, narcissistic, ignorant, idiotic, biased, narrow-minded, selfish, easily-swayed, complacent douche-bags. You seriously say the world is awesome?

Of course, there are good persons in the world, but you see, that's the thing. There can be a number of good persons, but there are no good PEOPLE. Singular versus plural. When in a group, people tend to change and become something they're not; this is often a bad thing, especially if alcohol is involved.

The world would be awesome, but the fact s that people often use even arbitrary differences between people as a way to make fun of others at best, and utterly discriminate against them at worst.

Although, there are some things I do like in the world;
Seeing those few good people I can actually like for once.
VALVe.
Metal.
Gamers and Developers standing up for their medium.
Unique games.
Stargate.
Rock-band.
Anything that is suitably epic.
