Okay, so here's the thing. I honestly think, as a planet of humans, we are screwed. Why do you? YAY people, it's a fill in the blank.

The world is screwed because of chatroulette. That program could have been the coolest thing ever. Easily introducing those with an inane fear of broadening their horizons to people of different countries. A program that randomly sets us up to talk to a random person, to where their is no judgment baised on the coolness or the stupidness of a handle... and what do we get? Hours upon hours of guys junk.

So the global consensus is to use this awesome program to masturbate to women who aren't there... we are so screwed.

Just general apathy. Having just left high school i have to say that if the people i went there with are any indication, we wont give a damn. Almost nobody understands the real issues, politics, the environment, terrorism, everything, yes we have some who care and wish to make a difference. But the general society seems more concerned with when the next party night, or buying clothes. And the closest they get to politics and issues is bitching about that ghetto trash Lil' Waynes prision sentence.

I think the world is screwed because people give in to trendy internet nihilism, which makes them think it's screwed when in fact it isn't. We are in fact living in the most awesome time ever in human history, with the future promising to be even better still. However because so many bored internet jockeys don't have the persepective to see the facts, they spread negativity and lameness everywhere and if they spread enough it could in fact start to leech into real life, and that could screw us up. But it probably won't.

We need a population cap or something. We cannot simply let people have so many kids. Especially in 3rd world countries. They continue to grow at an exponential rate, and it puts strain on the countries that support them.
