I was really hoping for the Rangers. My number 1 rule of sports is always root for the underdog.

My grandfather has been waiting for a win since he came to San Francisco the same year the Giants came to San Francisco. Screw the underdog XP

Meh, I wanted the Rangers to win (I'm a Red Sox fan, we always root for the underdog), but I really couldn't care either way. Good for San Fransico though, maybe now I can finally watch TV without every show being aimed at the fact that the world series are going on.

Yay baseball is over. I guess I am glad the Yankees didn't win but honestly I just can't get myself to care about baseball anymore.

Baseball is a flawed product where the same few times hold a huge advantage over all the others. Football is killing MLB in popularity nowadays. The damne Stealers-Saints sunday night game had higher ratings than game 4 of the World series and were just talking a regular mid season game here.

Uncalled for sir! This is a debate about the World Series. The Phillies were kind enough to lose to the Giants so they could have a chance to win the World Series. You should commend them for what they did.

Seriously, I am a Phillies fan because I live right outside Philadelphia, but I am just glad that baseball is over. It is such a long season. Too long for me to stay interested the entire time.
