Gonna go with a few others on these ones.

Kristin Stewart (or however the bloody hell you spell her name) basically because of what everyone else has said. I went to see The Avengers the other night and saw the preview for that Snow White she's in? Looks freakin' awesome except for her. She's pulling the same face throughout the entire trailer. She's so wooden. Isn't there a demotivational floating around of her compared to Emma Watson's expressions? That pretty much sums it up.

For men, sorry for the guy who wants to punch me in the face but definitely Nicholas Cage. I can't watch a movie with him in. How he's so huge is beyond me he's just such a terrible terrible actor. Terrible line delivery, emotion (or lack of) and pretty much always plays the same guy.

I have to say that Kristen Stewart. The woman has no talent, she just does the zombie face all the time. Not just in Twilight, in other movies too. I honestly don't know how she got in the business. To be fair though, Bella strikes me as being more than a little stupid in the books, so I suppose she fit that role at least. [/rant]

Not sure which male actor, there are a few pretty awful ones. :)
Well, she might've been a little better when she was... a child. She starred in Catch that Kid. Maybe, that's how. She's just gotten worse. (Seriously, now, she looks like she's gotta make a record-breaking puke/crap every minute!) Big studios only care about your big accomplishments in the past. They don't care if you're talentless now. Actually... wait... A lot of them don't care about talent, anyway. They just want to know how much dough you can rake in for them.

Anyway, I have really come to dislike Jim Carrey. A LOT. He is not an actor. He fails to fit the criteria. He always pulls the exact same personality every single time. That's not acting. Acting is to be able to pretend you are other personalities. This is far from acting. He's energetic, but he doesn't really "act", strictly-speaking.

Have I yet mentioned enough times that he really can't actually "act"?
Jim Carey? You seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind or Number 23, he's amazing!

Not sure if he has been mentioned but all other actors are oscar worthy in comparison to

HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN!

I loathe him and every movie he is in and every stone he steps on. My god he is awful, and not even in a funny way.
This, I've taken thought, but this must be the final answer!

ITT, we discuss who we believe the worst actor currently working in the business is. This is primarily focusing on notable Hollywood actors, so avoid citing B-movie actors (Tommy Wiseau) or actors that most people wouldn't know. The criteria for awfulness is yours to decide, though acting ability is mostly what I had in mind when creating this thread. Just be sure to state why you think they're the worst of the worst. If you want to include one male and one female feel free to do so.

I would have included directors in the title as well, but I get the feeling that Uwe Boll would be a shoo-in for top honors. Regardless, you can throw some directing names out there if you so desire.

My vote goes to Sam Worthington.
Does this count?

(Please say it counts)
It does naht count, it does naaaaht.

As for me, I'm going with Gerard Butler. Talk about a guy who oozes nonchalance, in spite of his complete and total lack of talent.
I think Gerard Butlers acting ability is relative to whether or not he has to put on an American accent. When using his native Scottish accent, he's fine... Nothing special but nothing to complain about. When he tries it on with an American accent... It just doesn't fit and the performance suffers for it. Also, he makes terrible judgements in choice of scripts.

Shia Labeouf.
Dear lord his whiny, annoying, high pitched voice....

As for female actors its Julia Roberts.
She just seems like a ***** trying to pretend to be nice

Sometimes I feel as if I'm the only person in the world who enjoys some of Dolph Lundgren's b-movies. Of course I'm not, but it just feels that way.

Daniel Radcliffe and Kiera Knightley are two of my least favourite actors

I find that neither of them portray any kind of good, believable emotion in anything that I've seen them in

That, along with the fact that Kiera Knightley always seems to have her mouth open just a tiny, little bit; it annoys me to no end

So who in Hollywood do you find attractive? Just out of curiosity.

Justin Bieber in CSI, I'm so glad they wasted him in the show, best day of my life.

Female I'd have to say Selena Gomez, her wizard show sucks ass, and I can't ever recall her in any movies on her imdb page..

This isn't the picture i wanted to use, but since you can't put in google pictures... i think here we go
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm587117312/nm0000167

I know it's somewhat hypocritical [cause i'm pretty sure she wears makeup] but dayumn she's fine. Wanted to use this one... guess a link is as good as an image

http://www.google.com/imgres?um=1&hl=en&sa=N&biw=1680&bih=911&authuser=0&tbm=isch&tbnid=KiHWcOLdoiq9pM:&imgrefurl=http://www.aveleyman.com/FilmCredit.aspx%3FFilmID%3D25224&docid=TMIsw1wWYVtcTM&imgurl=http://www.wearysloth.com/Gallery/ActorsH/8426-25224.gif&w=320&h=239&ei=HK6qT5DINsvKiQLgy8yaAg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=1202&vpy=194&dur=554&hovh=191&hovw=256&tx=152&ty=99&sig=103838633979120297654&page=1&tbnh=149&tbnw=194&start=0&ndsp=29&ved=1t:429,r:5,s:0,i:138

But other than that and maybe Selma Hayek not really anyone in hollywood gets my fancy. Oh and Charlize Theron although that name is downright retarded. But there is a difference between hot/cute/beautiful/sexy and attractive. A lot of actresses are hot/cute/beautiful/sexy. They just don't get me fancy.

According to Rotten Tomatoes scores... The worst actor is *Drum Roll* CHUCK NORRIS! With an 18.4% overall rating... Eddie Griffin is the 2nd worst at 24%.

The worst actress...I can't believe I forgot about her, Jennifer Love Hewitt, She has never been in a "Fresh" movie. Ah ha ha.
I admit that I've never seen a movie starring Chuck Norris, I mostly despise him because of his political views and because of Chuck Norris facts.

Here's one Chuck Norris fact for all of you:

Chuck Norris is so dumb that he makes Sarah Palin look like the most sophisticated, intelligent human being ever to exist.

I would say for me, Julia Roberts is easily my least favorite actress today.
I think what she has going for her is that she is very pretty (and not even by my standards), she never plays a different role. I work at a movie theater and saw "Mirror, Mirror" for a few minutes. I think it's the closest she got to me liking her (The makeup on her old self was actually very well done), but short of that, she never changes a role. Just once, I would love to see Julia Roberts play somebody with some kind of abnormality or dysfunction so people can judge if she really is a good actress or just a very pretty face.

As for male actors, I would say Vince Vaughn. Perhaps it is because Vaughn has been relegated to comedy for so long, but the guy, despite his appearance (I judge looks with Roberts because that's seems to be all she has, I won't judge Vaughn because he always looks tired) just doesn't prove to me that he is a really great actor. His serious roles, of the only one I've seen (The Cell), I can't say he was particularly compelling (Chalk that up to bad writing, I suppose), but I get kind of tired of judging Rob Schneider (He remains convincing that he's a schlub, but when you act against a woman with a penis for a nose, how good of an actor can you really be?) and Sam Worthington is really just in the wrong roles, he can probably turn out brilliance sometime, and Michael Cera isn't a bad actor, considering I always like his loser roles. Male actors are harder for me to choose.

And that's my absolute lowest considered actors, and I really can't find anything other that currently.

Actresses: What people said, but I especially dislike Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts, and Sarah Jessica Parker. There is also Blake Lively, who was the worst part of Green Lantern (even worse than crappy CGI costume).

I do not get the Michael Cera hate - he just gets typecasted. So does Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, and Bruce Willis, but I did not see anyone hating them.

Actors: What others said, pretty much. I did not see anyone mentioning Channing Tatum, he's such a bad actor. That guy is so wooden that his name could have been Pinoccio.

Nicholas Cage
Shia LeBeouf
Megan Fox
Ashton Kutcher

On the other hand...

I think Jack Black is a pretty good actor. Not the best ever...not even close, but at least he puts some character into the roles he plays. At first glance they might appear to be the same roles but there are subtle differences in his characters such as expressions and gestures.

Richard Gere. I dislike him completely. His movies make me cringe, I don't enjoy is acting or screen presence.

I don't want to hope on the Nicholas Cage hate train, or fan train, but...

Bad Lieutenant was a terrible movie. Cliched, boring. It came out the same time as that other terrible cop movie, the one with, you guessed it, Richard Gere.

Jennifer Lopez and Stone Cold Steve Austin are also bad. Stay outta cinema.

Nicolas Cage, time and time again. There's no other actor that I hate as much as him. He plays the same damn character every time, and he never plays it well. "Well... this is odd, I better have a blank expression on my face." "Well... I didn't expect this, I better have a blank expression on my face." "Well... I didn't expect this, I better run around for a bit while having a blank expression on my face." He has no emotion, he just plays a blank slate. You could use a CGI chalkboard and get the same experience. He is a bad actor, plain and simple.

Plus I've heard he's driven the blackfoot ferret to near extinction because he rapes them to death. This is true. There are pictures.

Pffft, most actors today are poor. I am absolutely sick of Will Farrell and Angelina Jolie, can't stand their garbage. Will Farrell always forces his brand of so called comedy, and Angelia Jolie has read some of the worst lines I've ever heard out of all movies I've seen. Just go watch Original Sin, or don't if you appreciate life.
