To whoever said this, Though overrated i would like to point out that Halo: combat evolved is NOT a cover based shooter. Also Overrated was WoW and FF13. But one of the most overrated games that i have ever played is deffinitely Dragon Age: Origins. Great story and Graphics but gameplay had me bored in less then 3 hours wich is an accomplishment for a game like that. But actually really really really BAD game is Shadow the hedgehog. Hedgehogs should never weild guns or drive on motorcycles.

Favorites are God of war series, Sands of time series and Shadow of the colosus. Honourable mention goes to Metal gear solid series.

I once had to review a game called Bus Simulator, which was awful.

However, another game I had to review called Fort Zombie was worse.

What sort of idiot main character can't walk and shoot at the same time.

Or walk faster than a zombie.

Or spends 10 seconds looking at an item before picking it up.

The game was just terrible.

If anyone is THAT interested. I can post my review...

Carmageddon 64. I mean, wow. Just wow. I didn't think it was possible for a team of professional game designers to deliberately make something which is the complete opposite of fun and well designed in every conceivable way.

I'm sorry, Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing? Could that even constitute as a game?
Darn, ninja'd.

For those unfamiliar to this game, let me just say that it was a racing game. With NO COLLISION. Among other things. I've never played it, but I've laughed quite a bit at it.

I once stumbled over a bus driver simulation. You drove along a route through a city, that you have seen once before shortly in the 3 second loading screen, you stopped at stations, people got in , out or stuck in the door, the controls were so extremely shitty that in 70% of the times you got the instant game over for touching other cars when you drove on. THATS a shitty game.

Call of Duty MW2 as its stole way too much of my time and it has the cheek to remind when I look at the leader boards :]

As for a game I really don't like, Too Human, after dying twice I thought screw that.

prototype it leaves just about every loose end it possibly could and totaly just drops players off the edge of the world while you never find out what happened to them and the story was well non existant how the hell did i end up on an air-craft carrier!?

the gameplay was awsome though

Care to elaborate? HL2 is great. Not the best ever but definitely great.

I probably haven't played the worst game ever made, but the worst game in my collection would have to be Ninety Nine Nights. Incredibly repetitive, poorly voiced, boring piece of crap.

The only game people should be mentioning in here is Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing. The highest it ever scored in reviews is 1, and the only places that gave it that only did so because they didn't have a 0 on their scale. It's literally the worst game ever. It was released in a pre-alpha state. I'm not kidding. Look it up.

I think it most definetly has to be Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing. Yes there are a lot of games that are bugged and some have terrible gameplay, but this game was just...let me explain.

1. There were like 4 tiny, bland tracks for a dedicated racing game.

2. When you start a race there is a 50/50 chance that when you cross the finish line for the first time the game will think you have won and end the race.

3. The other "Big Rigs" either have no AI, or are completely bugged and never start moving, they just sit their on the starting positition for the entire race.

4. Games do no need perfect physics, but this one takes the biscuit, when you drive into a wall that is 90 degrees your angle you just stick to it and continue to drive, with no loss or gain in motion.

5. Your rig can go about 90km/h at best, pretty realistic right? When you reverse however there is no upper limit. I once went for a shower leaving the key depressed and when I came back my Rig was moving faster than the speed of light going backwards. Just think about that for a minute.

6. If I recall correctly, there is almost no collision detection, you can drive straight through all the scenery and billboards (I say all, thats only like 7 things) on the map.

7. Following on from number 6. there is no invisible wall or even images past the maps edge, its just darkness. You can even drive into it, leaving the map behind and just zooming off into nothingness, which happens so fast when going backwards that you can never find the actual textured section of the game until you quit the race.

The developers, upon release obviously thought that this was ready to be released and sold it for about £25 at the time and people bought it...

It is actually so bad that it is worth finding it so you can have 20 minutes of fun with it, and then stare at the screen for another 40 minutes wondering how anyone could ever release such a game.

Fortunatly, a patch was released that fixed some of these problems, unfortunatly it broke several other features.

One of the saddest things is that even if this game was released complete, and as intended it would still be rubbish due to the lack of variety in both maps and rigs.

You absorbed a military commander and impersonated him, you were brought back by your 'ally' for questioning as to why you disregarded orders. He was in that big tank you were chasing through the city.
oooooooooh! it makes a little more sense

BUT what about his sister? the doc?

Soul Fighter. All the high profile shitty games like Daikatana, E.T and Superman all get more than their fair share of shit-It's high time Soul Fighter got some recognition as being an atrocious piece of interactive garbage on an otherwise great system-The Dreamcast.
