I don't know. I usually have the wherewithal to avoid games that are bad. The only time I fell into a trap that was an awful game series was when a relative bought me a little game called 'Turok: Evolution'.

Yes. That answers it. Turok games are the worst game series ever. Why? Because they managed to take the concept of a time-travelling Native-American who shoots dinosaurs and fries them with electricity in space and somehow make it boring.

O god no, but at least that series had a redeeming game, plenty of series's that don't even have that

say wah... turok 2 was really good as well

OT. army men... the first 1 was ok i have good memories of it but every single 1 of 22 others where trying there best to kill my childhood memories of that game

Further proving point that turok wasn't the worst series, of course all opinion the second one wasn't a pile of crap at all, bringing the series up to two passable games.

Tekken as the worst game? Do you know how much it has evolved? I'm simply assuming that Aura Guardian has biased preferences and doesn't respect games he does not like or have any interest in.

@Stain6T - There do exist good Batman games in the NES you know. They just don't have much depth storywise. Maybe it's because you only have seen those Batman games which are linked to movie-cash-ins.

As for my worst game series? Any sports games drenched by EA Sports. I don't mean to flame but I see little to no innovation whatsoever. What I only see are better graphics, latest rosters, and FEW to NO gameplay difference. They're also boring, IMO. Why can't these sports games just patch up to gain their new rosters? It's not like they need to make a game per year.

As for me I never liked the spyro series and as that is the only thing that jumps out at me, I'll say thats my worst in history!

I'm just going to say the horrible Harry Potter games.

This. Think about it: the potential exists to make a great above-average sandbox RPG with puzzle-solving elements (a-la Zelda) out of the HP world perhaps even being a Wii exclusive (hey, Wiimote = wand would be a good selling point to casual gamers), but what do they do? Make a terrible Final Fantasy-esque RPG (HP1, with its random-encounters, leveling and turn-based combat) and later "cinematic" games (see the ZP of Wet) in which most of the action/plot advancements occur in un-skippable cutscenes, and the times when you can play involve lengthy and/or repetitive tasks which were skipped over either with filmic montage or simply a new paragraph because you knew they were going to happen anyway.

Okay, so I had two bad experiences with that series of games. A mistake I will never make again.

I dunno, Noah's Ark was actually pretty fun. Even if the camel kept kicking my ass.
Anyway I can't see this having a good ending.

this is ironic because when i saw this thread i was thinking of what it would be like if i made a bible game, i decided it would be The Book of Genesis on Sega Genesis, and the music would be genesis.

Hey now! I enjoyed some of those Bible games, specifically Noah's Ark and Spiritual Warfare. Both great games.

As for worst? I'd have to go with Cabella's Big Game Hunter Series.

Noahs Ark was Pretty bad and Spiritual Warfare was a Zelda clone.
But Atleast Sporitual Warfare was actually kinda decent.

Edit: Actually no, I'll say the "Wii" series, like Wii Music, Wii Sports, Wii Fit, etc. Just gives developers an excuse to be lazy and not put any effort into games and spout out a load of crappy mini games for the same price as a real game.

Actually it's gonna be a toss-up between Halo, Final Fantasy, Mario and Zelda. That's my prediction.
