prolly the worst for me was when I heard that Arith/Aeris dies in ff7. that really robbed the power of the moment when it happened for me. It just made it feel really hollow

Probably the twist ending of Fight Club. I felt that it really petered out in the latter half; maybe I would have liked it more if I hadn't known how it ended.

Citizen Kane was also ruined for me, but that spoiler is really more of a final detail than a plot-changing moment.

I need to stop looking up stuff about upcoming episodes of Doctor Who. There's always some major spoiler leaked, even if it's just called a "rumour", and I end up expecting it, which obviously takes away the impact when it happens.

I dont care about spoilers. I play games for the gameplay, not the story. I watched Aries die with a sense of "Shit, now who am I am gonna have heal?" One of the few storys i ever gave a crap about was CoD4, when everyone Captain Price and Gaz die. Aside from that, I really cant think of any story where I gave a shit in non-gameplay terms.

I was glazing over he wiki looking for some good sidequests to do, but I saw the one for "Trouble on the homefront" the start of the article read, "After the demise of your father".

one of my friends reads the Naruto manga and he thinks he has to tell me things that have happened before they do in the anime. he told me a while ago that Asuma dies, it didn't ruin the anime because i didn't know when it would happen. he also told me, even though he says 'do you want top know what happened?' i say no, he tells me anyway (now i stick my fingers in my ears a sing any random song that comes to mind, seems to work) and he told me, much to my annoyance, that someone another character who has been in it a fair bit dies.

It was the worst not because I actually cared about Dumbledore, but that everyone was yelling it.

thats partly why i still watch it, the other characters are coming into it a lot more and their personalities, strengths, weaknesses and skills all have an effect on it. i hope Kiba comes into it a bit more, he's not been in much and he rules

I went over to my freind's house a couple of days after Halo 3's release, and he wanted to show me some gameplay in theater. He loaded up the last level, and told me that he wouldn't show me any spoilers. However, he seemed to forget that because now, before ever playing the game, I knew about Johnson's death and Master Cheif's escape. When he got Gears 2 this week, I called him and threatened to tear out his eyes and strangle him with his optic nerve if he attempted to spoil the ending for me.

Oh man, that pissed me off. My friend came in one day and kept saying it, and when I asked him what he was talking about he ruined the entire scene in Bioshock. You know the one "Would you kindly KILL ME!" Yeah, totally ruined it for me, and I was about 20 minutes from reaching it myself. I almost strangled him.
