An idea for a show that I scrapped, i figure it'd just be easier to make a forum discussion/section instead. If this thread does well I think i will make the show (Dibs!). Valid/stuipd questions with valid/stupid answers from the community. Let's give it a shot!

So I was talking with my girlfriend over the phone when all of a sudden I started choking and coughing because some spit when down the wrong pipe. After recovering and now having a headache and a sore throat, this question came to mind:

Why the hell do we even have a wrong pipe? Of course I could look this up on google but I'm just too damn lazy to do research right now.

Because we don't process food in our lungs and don't breath with our stomach.

... because the throat separates between the esophagus (food and water intake) and the trachea (air intake). When you get liquids in the trachea it makes you cough, and when you get air in the esophagus it can make you gassy.

... I thought this was pretty common sense stuff.

damn it i knew there was a valid answer for my stupid question lol, thank ya'll, now lets try one that's been bugging me for weeks:


why is it that i can never find black jeans (other than wranglers/levi's) that are:

A) Not Skinny Jeans
And
B) Under 30$

maybe it's just cause im a cheap bastard and have a 36 waistline, or probably because i live in southern california, but for anyone else that's run into this problem or knows a solution, i'd like to know

I think it's because black is a 'fashionable' color, and jeans are a very functional piece of clothing, especially when made of good quality denim. As far as Levi's and Wranglers go, what's wrong with them? They're good jeans and wear well. Honestly, virtually my entire repertoire of pants is jeans. Granted I live in Southern Arizona and this place is dry, gritty, and generally hazardous, but I digress.

pipe 1 goes to stomach while pipe 2 goes to lungs...
there's a "lid" over the lung pipe which is closed always except when you breath in or out. so if you happen to swallow and breathe at the same time, chances are some food/spit/crap will go to your lungs and that's not cool!

but i likes me jeans! they keep my legs warm! plus i have like thick thighs cause i used to bike alot -_-
