Sid Meier's Pirates is probably, the "cutest" game I own. It's definately not as cute as some of the others mentioned, but I feel it's lighthearted enough that it's worth mentioning. Sort of Disney-ish, if you get my meaning, but without the soulless evil.

Anything with Kirby in it. The main villain is a giant penguin. Its just all so adorable.
Plus the Kirby games are fantastic platformers.

Also Ratchet and Clank.

Plants vs. Zombies.

I can't help but feel sad when wallnuts get eaten.

Didn't you read the signs hidden around the levels?

I did, and I found them kinda cute that the devs did it.

But... they were all about taking advantage of the gooballs' innocence and making a path to success out of the broken bodies of your rivals!

They did it with a smile, so there fore it's cute.

Little Big Planet certainly comes to mind.

Everything has the whimsical art style of a child's playset/picture book, and I can't look at Sackboy's smile without "D'awwwwww"ing.

What's important is that it has the gameplay to match.

Which...to me that is. That game failed at. God the platforming controls were basic(Which I don't mind) and awful. I love platformers, but not that one.

Kirby comes to mind.

Machinarium is adorable. That's its only saving grace for me when it becomes incredibly frustrating to keep playing. (It's a hard game! Shut up!) And it has a pretty cool soundtrack.

I really liked the Sly Cooper games. At the time I played those I was bored and in the middle of nowhere, with those being the only outlet left to me but I found them just very relaxing honestly.

Ninja'd. But he's right, you get conned into thinking it's a nice and easy game with all the cutesy characters, read it's a curtain fire shooter, whatever that meant, pick normal difficulty and then, "POW!" you are getting stomped like crazy. Curtain fire? No it's bullet hell.

My favorite character has to be Marisa though, the only semi-normal girl in the project. Just saying.
