Before the usual comments of "This has been done!" I couldn't find the thing in search, if it did indeed exist in this way.
We have had it before several times. Topics that ask for the most beautiful moments [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.63316] in a game, or funny moments, or *insert type here* moments. What we havn't had, however, is a topic that puts these moments down in pictures. Pictures speak a thousand words, as the saying goes.
As such, this is the topic. There are rules to prevent spamming of images and to make it better on the sites - and your - bandwidth, and if you adhere to them we should get a good topic going!
Ok the rules of the thread are thus:
Hopefully we can get some good images from the community doing this!
If you are stuggling for a website to upload pictures to, I suggest Imageshack [http://imageshack.us]. I have used their service for years and you don't need to sign up to use it.
Examples of what I am looking for in this topic:
"Screenshot Name" - Name of Game (Location) - Resolution in Pixels - Website source if applicable
"Spacial Anomaly" - EVE Online (Uncharted System) - 1917x1080 pixels [http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/5677/20090313234353.jpg]
Saw this while exploring the new wormholes (brought in during the march 10th patch). Thought it really showed how good looking EVE could be, and how it just keeps getting better (for me at least, I know this is not everyone's cuppa). I can't really say where it is as all the uncharted systems are different, and incredibly hard to return to due to the nature of the wormholes.
"Depth" - Abes Exoddus (The Entire Thing) - 400x324 pixels - Gamespot UK [http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/screenshots/2/198222/abes2_screen020.jpg]
The thing about the first two Oddworld games is that despite being on a 2d plane, they had absolutely awesome depth in the backgrounds, making you really feel like this was a huge, living and breathing world you were guiding Abe through. Abe's Exoddus really improved on what the first game had achieved, and the results were stunning. The entire game gets my vote for this mastery of depth. I really want them to make a HD version.
Now its your turn. What do you have, Escapists?

Ok the rules of the thread are thus:
- We are looking for Funny, Beautiful and/ore Awe Inspiring pictures ONLY! Please, no score sheets and no screenshots of you using Forge to make a name with weapon spawns. We don't care how good you are, and the weapons in the sand thing is just overdone.
All images must be hyperlinked only. The link should have the name of the screenshot (what you want to call it), the game, the location if possible and the image size. This is mainly to stop the website acting funny. You should also provide a brief description of why you like it and where to see it ingame.
Nothing Pornographic! Its fine to have someone stood in a bikini but anything too raunchy will get reported. And yes this includes anything 4/8-bit.
No flaming! You can discuss how a game is good or bad but please don't flame others for their choices ok? Everyone has their opinion on what a good or bad game is.
Check first before you post! Sometimes, especially on more popular games, a lot of people will pick the same spot to screencap. Please try your best to check to see if anyone else has supplied a screenshot of your submission before you do!
Animated screenshots are allowed - but in .gif format ONLY. As long you mark them as such in the link - animated .gif may be needed to bring across some funny moments. Please, no flash, as flash can contain viruses (unlikely but possible) and I'd rather not be responsible for people being screwed over by a failed member of the community.
Any game from any console, computer or handheld is allowed. While it is less likely that people will find the old graphics of the c64 or Gameboy beautiful compared to the vista's of Oblivion or Crysis, there were some moments in some of these games that were simply wondrous to behold. So if you can get a screenshot from any of the games on console that you feel fits then by all means post!
You do not have to be the one that took the screenshot. If you find a screenshot on a website or google that you feel suits then feel free to link it, but please give credit to the website you got it from.
Hopefully we can get some good images from the community doing this!
