Um that's not true at all... Gears of War 3, Dead Space 2, and Brink all come out next year... and Fall is normally the time to release games for some reason. Apparently the game companies don't understand why Prototype sold so well, despite it being an average game. See, Prototype was an alright game. Nothing super special and I don't many people play it anymore. But, it was released in June at a time when hardly any other game was being released. And it had the edge over inFamous for being multiplatform. See, when people release a ton of games in a three month period like this it's both good news and bad news. The good news is that companies have to work hard to make their games better than everyone else's so chances are more quality games will come out. The bad news is that since no one wants to buy 5 games in this short amount of time, good games won't sell as well because they've got to compete with Call of Duty (and I really hope that Modern Warfare 2 was its peak and that it's going to start going away now) so some genuinely great games are going to be forgotten about. I think it's strange how there are like 20 releases in 3 months and then when we get to summer where people are bored and actually want to play some new games there is nothing coming out...
