There has not been a single Tom Clancy game that has been good for awhile now.

Blacklist is easily worst in series.
This is patently false, even as a subjective opinion.

even conviction was not that bad.
This we can agree on.

blacklist has mass effect like breiefing in a splinter cell game, some of the worst level design plus invisible walls, forced FPS segments, more action than stealth, and last no michael ironside and sam fisher sound too generic.

its just terrible game overall.
Your nitpicks are extremely niggling to label it the ?worst? in a series when there?s no shortage of complaints to be leveled at the more obvious candidates; Blacklist has some of the best level designs since Chaos Theory, and as for ?more action that stealth,? that?s simply objectively false. Each level of the game allows for and rewards accordingly for distinct playstyles: ?Ghost? is pure stealth, largely nonlethal wherein you remain undetected (impossible in a game that?s ?more action that stealth,?) ?Panther? is a mixture of stealth and lethality which forgives the occasional detection by enemies and ?Assault? is maximum lethality and gunplay, aka: your ?action? option. How did I manage to complete every level with a ?Ghost? rating in a game that?s ?more action than stealth?? Leads me to believe you either 1.) didn?t play it very well, 2.) didn?t play it very long, 3.) haven?t played it at ALL or 4.) as you?re wont to do, ignoring the degrees of severity that make up the vast gulf between opposing, superlative opinions.

Chaos theory was masterpiece.
This we can agree on.
well i mean conviction was pretty bad but not blacklist level of bad

Im a huge splinter cell fan. i mean the original trilogy. double agent was ok but every both conviction and blacklist suck. and yes i never beat blacklist because it was so boring. its the only splinter cell which i never beaten.

you may call it "stealth" but i on other hand cant. where is light and dark meter? how come there are day time levels in a freaking splinter cell??? daylight in splinter cell?? that madness??

its not splinter cell. only first 3 games are consider real splinter cell games. everything else is just meh.

What're you on about? Most Splinter Cell games had daylight levels.

Does the Clancy name have any meaning? I'm not sure how much involved he was with the games that bore his name - even when he was still alive.

I feel the issue is really more with Ubisoft's whole shift to a homogenized open world formula. At this point is there enough meaningful distinction between Farcry, Watchdogs, Creed or Ghost Recon?

Pandora Tomorrow, the second Splinter Cell, had at least one daylight level that I can recall.

?Stealth? need not be about being in the dark; it?s about going unseen. The light/dark mechanic is cool, but gimmicky and tiresome if every level is just a ?shoot out all the lights-a-thon,? and I don?t think Splinter Cell would have the hold on my attention it does if that?s all it was. I think that?s what Double Agent was, them trying to go beyond the ?nighttime sneaky-sneaky? cliche into a more austere full-on chameleon gameplay, showing that Sam Fisher is so badass, he can hide in plain sight. I respected the move in that I liked the idea of a franchise I love adding variety, but Double Agent had HUGE shoes to fill not only being the first iteration on a new platform, but following up a nigh objectively perfect game in Chaos Theory, and straying that far from something that good was a gamble the franchise has suffered for since.
