The game is addictive until you realize it's one huge grind. You want that shiny sword? Grind for it. Armor? Grind. Sure, with WoTLK it'll introduce some new content, but that content will be grinded(ground?) for. And once you realize the grind, it simply becomes uninteresting (for me, at least.)

EDIT: And someone should just put cake filling in a pie / vice versa and be done with the whole thing.

A philosophical train of thought would be that this is like life. You want a shiny new car... grind (work). You want peachy clothes grind (work). You want to eat and live in a house grind (work).

I played the trial of WoW, played for about 12 hours...and I've never been so bored by a game in entire life. I'm sure it's great for some, but for me it was mind-numbingly dull.

1. cake VS pie... cant we all get along? what if i bake a cake pie? or a pie cake?(or more likely get someone else to do it, because i cant bake for shit)
2. ALL mmos suck as games, the same way and for the same reason MS access sucks as a game, because they werent meant to be games, they were meant to make money. lots and lots of money. fun was not considered in their design, just money.
