There was something definately wrong with that water.

At work i was thirsty and wanted some water. The only machine that wasnt out was one that everybody claimed tasted bad but it was the only one and the bottles only cost 35 cents.

Me being not to bright decided to get the water.

Well it was very warm so i decided to put it in the freezer for my last break which was two hours later.

I took a swig of the water and immediately spit it back out. The temp had barely felt like it had changed in the two hours it was in the freezer. Now it had turned into a gel which i didnt know water could even do. no ice crystals just gel and it tasted awful.

How does water turn into a gel? Have you ever had this happen to you?

A fact that is seldom conveyed by modern media is that "clear liquid substance" does not mean clean, safe to drink water.

I have to agree with Anarchemitis, don't drink that water. In fact I would probably report that to whoever the head of your office is. Even if it isn't a 'health risk', It's really unsatisfactory to provide water of that standard.

I had this happen to some water that I left sitting out for a few days in a dirty tumbler filled with spinach and OJ smoothie residue.

Yeah. Don't drink it.
