I'm fairly confident in saying that most people, at some point in their life, have gotten really down and really upset because something happened that really shouldn't have that effect whatsoever.
It's a weird feeling, and this thread is your chance to share your own personal moments that bummed you out but really shouldn't have done.
This was inspired by two moments I had recently, so I'll start things off by posting those moments:
1) Found out this morning that my roommate spent last night having sex with a guy I used to slightly have a small crush on before I got my boyfriend. For some reason hearing that news just really make me upset, and actually a little bit angry with my roommate for doing it.
2) A few days back I had to to a pharmacy in town to get some stuff, and working on the counter was a guy I hadn't seen in ages. And I couldn't tell you why, but when I saw him my first thought was "fuck, I can't possibly date him". And THAT made me randomly upset. I think this one might have had something to do with him being the first guy I can actively remember having a crush on after realising I was gay. Even so...it really bummed me out.
