There's gonna be an Emoji movie.

I refuse to act like Tetris and Fruit Ninja movies are dumber than that.

Seems we have yet another comedy skit, besides Idiocricy, that predicted the future.

This movie could be good. If it was done in a campy way like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.

Actually, now that I think about it...it COULD work! We would need someone competent at the helm. Now, who would be a good director for this? Is Mel Brooks still alive?

*Massive groan* This is going to suck, isn't it? Either that, or blow.

Although, I'd have to disagree about Hollywood being out of ideas. They've found plenty of sources of inspiration over the past half decade. The only downside is all of those ideas are about using brand recognition aimed at little kids and mobile gamers while also writing a bare bones story that is easy to translate into foreign languages.

What Hollywood has pretty much run out of is fucks to give for actual cinema (and that probably happened before the negotiations even started on any Angry Birds film rights).

I eagerly await the announcement of the Candy Crush Saga film. Truly, only cinema can do justice that noble artform that is Candy Crush.

I'd look forward to a CCS film. If only for King Games to sue the creators of every other board/mobile game movie being made because King copyrighted the idea of mobile game movies.
