they're making Sherlock Holmes 2!

My first reaction was complete enthusiasm, the first movie was an amazing script that has more twists and turns than i could ever hope for, plus an awesome cast and amazing scenes. The fact that they are filming a second one really makes me look forward to the release. Yet then i started thinking, will this new movie turn out like most sequels and be half as good as the first? Should we just have the amazing movie stand on it's own? which one will this new movie be: a second that belittles the first or a great second addition to an already amazing title? What do you think?

Sorry, I thought you were talking about the BBC miniseries, which I highly suggest you watch.
I enjoyed Sherlock Holmes, though if I wasn't playing minecraft at the same time as watching it I probably would have liked it more.

Eh....the first was well made and did have some interesting parts but overall I was rather bored with it. I'm willing to give the second one a chance but my expectations are low.

And this is surprising? The ending of the first made it damn certain they intended to make a sequel. That said, I liked the first quite a lot and it helped to ever deepen my man-crush on Robert Downey, Jr.

With Sherlock Holmes they have lots to go on. I believe the characters will be as good as ever and the storyline will also be of high standards. Although we won't know until they release it. You can't please everyone. Lets just hope we are the people that are pleased by the second film.
