Thief Series

Being an avid fan of Zero Punctuation, I couldn't help but notice the continued mentions of the Thief series. I looked on Amazon and a collection of all three games is relatively cheap. Now, the general message I got from ZP was 'Thief 1's good, Thief 2's amazing and Thief 3 is shite'. Before I buy them, does anybody know if this is a shared opinion or just his?

I've only played Thief 3 and I can tell you it's on my favorite game list. I'd do it.

DO NOT BUY THE XP AND VISTA COMPATIBLE EDITION!!! It claims to be Vista compatible but it is not. Not even a little, take it from a victim.

I haven't played the entire series, but I absolutely loved Thief: Deadly Shadows back on the original Xbox.

I got the 3rd one on PC and its one of my favorite games of all time.

Can be, more so back then.

OT: I think he still likes the 3rd, if only for the cradle.

One of the best Trilogies I have ever played. 1 is amazing. 2 is Headblowingly incredible and 3 is pretty good.

All worth playing.
