So do cans of beans, by the way.

That was a fun night.
I've heard many a story about flaming-bean-shrapnel. Apparently they're pretty dangerous

Home-made napalm? It's easy to make ^_^

Well basically, I went camping, we had a 48 pack of beans, and there was a camp fire.

Noone died (if memory serves me correctly), and fun times were had by all.

Yeah, about that: We had our polio vaccines, and they really fucked me up, so I got the message but couldn't be bothered to write back, and decided to do it later, and forgot.

I really need to stop randomly stopping...

Isn't there some sort of danger-label on most things with explosive potential? I know in the EU there is and since the US have labels about not to try ironing your car while doing backflips I think there should be something somewhere...
Not to mention pressurized cans, they pretty much all blow up in some way if exposed to heat.

Napalm, and Thermite...

Not that I used to make Napalm or Thermite in the shed behind my old house take it to the desert with some friends and detonate it. And it's not like I could give you a simple recipe if you PM me...
Wait, you can make Napalm by yourself? I knew about Thermite (although soures seem to be split over how careful you have to handle it), but I never heard about Napalm I think.
You can make home-made napalm after a 5 minute trip to Wal-mart, and a stop at a gasbar. I'm not implying that I know how it would be done, or that I've thought about making any, though.

That would be 'irresponsible'.

We took a fucked-up microwave from our job-shack, filled it with some mostly empty paint-cans, used a 200' extension cord, and set it on high for 99minutes. Then we ran off to hide in the work truck, about a mile distant, and watched.

Lulz were had, my friends; lulz were had.

Flour. No, seriously, they have to spray water in granaries to stop that stuff from killing everyone.

Gasoline. Gasoline explodes.

I turned on a heater once, and it just so happened to have a leak in its gas line. Five seconds later, the heater turned into a rather large fireball, and I turned into a small flaming creature(no, not a flame elemental).

Air freshner cans.

I once remember my friends and i found a hill above our town, Got a Cardboard box, a air freshner can, Some popcorn seeds, paper and a lighter.

We Set the paper and Box on fire and ran into a trench (Or what we've nicknamed it now) Next thing we now BOOM, Fire ball in the sky and the Can has rocketed into the sky and popcorn seeds are flying over our heads.

Apparently the can found its way into an alley way, Charred and the bottom completely blown off, those were the days.

And on the plus side it actually did cook some of the popcorn

Are you sure you don't mean "county"? There are cities that define themselves as being in "the country", but in the United States, if you live outside of city limits, that's the county.

Solid Waste is an enterprise utility; like water, sewer, or power. If you have someone who picks up your trash, they either work for an independent contractor (Waste Management is a big one), and you pay them a monthly fee. Or it is an enterprise fund from your Municipality (if not a city, as in your case, the County); that is funded by fees they collect specifically for it, not taxes.

acouple of nice things expload, and as far as stories....
me and my friend made a mini-fire bomb, we used a tenis ball, cut a 1"x1" cross in the ball, used a funnel to fill it with strike-any match tips, a lil bit of kerosene, and the insides of about 10-20 of those tiny paper "popper" things you throw on the ground to make a pop noise... then we duct taped the slit shut, soaked the tenis ball in kerosene, and then duct taped it again, and soaked it in kerosene one more time for good measure.... throw thoses things at any wall and BOOM

A friend of my dads once made a bonfire and covered it in petrol, as you do. He decided that he didn't want to stand next to it and light it so he made a trail of petrol across his garden to a safe distance and threw a match on it. He didn't realise that the grass was wet so the petrol, instead of staying in a line, spread across the garden. In short gardens can explode

I forget exactly what it was but I was in Walmart and one of the products was poisonous aswell as being corrosive, explosive and flamable. meaning if the explosion and the fire doesnt kill you, then you will be poisoned too.

A can of construction foam once exploded relatively near me. The walls went from a cylinder to a flat sheet and the bottom flew off with such force that it cut into a rock.

Our old party trick was to take those big french bangers (unobtainable in the UK) and stuff one in the neck of an empty milk bottle. Light the fuse, and you have your very own fragmentation grenade. Great fun.
