A few days ago, I was rifling through my basement, when I found an old (but in quite good condition) BB pistol. I found out that it belonged to my great grandpa, who hunted squirrels with it.
So, it can kill a small animal, has been in my family for a few generations, is semi automatic, and is in good condition for an old gun. It needs a new air cartridge, which I plan to buy very soon. But other than that, a pretty great find.
What kinds of awesome have you exhumed from the depths of your basement and/or attic?

I hope you're not planning on killing small animals with it...

OT: When my mouse broke once I discovered a stash of old keyboard, mice/mouses/whatever, and even some computer monitors. The monitors are useless but the rest can be used as replacements.

I've never rummaged through my attic. I don't think I'd find much, I'm not sure there's anything up there, aside from oodles of spider webs, which is reason enough for me not to want to look.

I found mine and my sister's old SOCK'EM BOPPERS last time I went scavving through my parents' attic. If I can find some patches maybe most of them will be inflatable again soon. [font color=white]More fun than a pillow fight![/font]

Small toy car which could control itself without a controller...no, I'm serious...it would bump into things and through guesswork makes its way around.

Old stuff, but was pretty sophisticated in it's simplicity of bumping and turning...
