Yeah, I never bought the "Ohmigod the monsters are totally unkillable," aspect of Metro 2033. Whenever I met a new sort of enemy, I just shot it until it died. Hence my meetings with the gorillas, and my many deaths to those flying bat things...... Note to self, .44 calibre revolver with stock and barrel still ain't gonna kill one of those things.Dango said:That's what I did on my second playthrough after I found out how absurdly easy they are to kill.vrbtny said:What? I just cracked out the heavy Auto-Shotgun and got on with it. Like a man!
Absolutely the same thing here. I was like "I don't want to be a dick, Marston was a gentleman up until this point." As I was doing it I had a >:C face because I defintely did not like burning down those houses either.Veldaroth said:Mexico in Red Dead Redemption made me uncomfortable. You are forced to help the government kill all of the men in a town so that they could have the women. I immediately shot the leader of the people I was working with and lost the mission. Somehow I made it through all of the story missions in Mexico, but I was angry through the whole thing. After that, I went on a killing spree and felt a little better... Only a little though.
That creature in dead space was fucking terrifying - I got stuck in a small space with it, which required telekinesis to escape from and I was shitting myself. The Rookie Gamer said:Fellow Escapists, is there anything in games that can actually not feel well?
For me, it's being hunted by a unkillabe enemy. In Dead Space, there is one enemy, aptly named the "Hunter" that can regenerate it's limbs, so it can only be slowed. Made worse by the fact it can travel through vents, like most creatures in Dead Space.

Argh you had to bring that up didn't you? That feeling of "Oh this going to be bad isn't it?" and yet you can't avoid it and when it happens you still get knocked out of your chair. That was not a pleasant moment...TriggerHappyAngel said:In the game Condemned: Criminal Origins I had to take a close-up photograph of a "dead" body stuffed in a locker, I immediatly saw what was going to happen, but the game still made me do it :'(
