I'm a student, so people automatically assume that I party constantly, so they're surprised to find out that I never go out to nightclubs and haven't had alcohol in around 16 months.
When I came to uni, I was very extroverted and made friends very quickly (I also danced on a table after shotgunning several energy drinks) so people are always shocked to know that in school I had very few friends and was very shy.
I walk around with a smile on my face and endeavour to make people laugh, so it's usually quite a surprise to know that I suffer from manic depression a lot of the time, but I hate telling people because I'm afraid they'll treat me differently if they know.
