There has been a constant debate over whether anime is better dubbed or with subtitles. An argument in favor of dubbing is that it is harder to notice bad voice acting in a foreign language. With that said, I once went to see a Hadyn performance and they had translated it into English. Due to the familiarity of the words, I quickly became tired of hearing "Glory to God in the Highest" repeated several times in different pitches with different tempos. The repetetiveness was far less noticeable when it was in latin. If you had a choice, is there anything in the world you would prefer to have in a foreign language (or keep in a foreign language)?

Insults. They'd just seem more imaginative. Easier to brush off too, since you're less likely to know what they're saying.

Everything is more exciting in Italian. The best example of this is the Maserati Quattroporte. It just means "4 doors" but it's so magical and wonderful sounding in Italian.

Anything is better in the original language it was meant to be in.
And 99.9% of anime is better in Japanese since the translators frequently fuck up the translation when turning it into spoken english dialogue.

Some songs sound better in other languages however.
All love songs should be in German, French, or Latin imo.
All speeches in front of a large crowd should be in English, but that is just personal preference (I like understanding what they are actually saying, and nothing a second-source translation >.>)
It would be awesome if all accountants had a slightly english accent, all priests had a slightly german accent, and all pilots had a slightly boston accent.

Is it a speech impediment for an Italian man to be missing his hands?
