Doing stretches.

They are all simple, but I always feel better afterwards. Imagining how my body moves is just really enjoyable.

If I'm just angling to pick up something that makes me smile, I'll put on this vid.

That Falsetto, how a rising sun just appears outta nowhere. Super uplifting in a really honest, earnest way.

BAA BAA BABA BAA!

My face, armpits, and navel-to-hip area just after shaving them.
I don't know whether it'll last though, since I've only done it a couple of times since teaching myself to do it.

When I'm down, I reread the Scott Pilgrim books.

Or I listen to music. In particular, Bjork. There's something oh so beautifully wrong with that woman, and I imagine if I met her, she'd rip my clothes off and laugh at me like she did to that one paparazzi at an airport. I usually listen to her older stuff, like I Miss You, which I can't post here because the video involves Bjork lying on a moonrock, screeching at the top of her lungs while a mini her and an idiot boy dance inside her rubber nipples. (it's beautiful)

Going through really old pictures that my parents got on holiday. There are hundreds of them; caricatures, portraits, cheesecakes, beefcakes, whatever the fuck they could get that was either sexy / of them.

Putting alcoholic wipes on a searing lightbulb.

Stretches.

Food.

Cleaning my teeth.

Feeding stray cats.

I'm always depressed enough to find something to cheer me up.

My cat's pretty good at it. Even when she's being incredibly obnoxious (and with the frankly outrageous volume she can emit for her size, this is saying something), she's still adorable and makes me feel better just by being around.

There's also Iroh's voice from Avatar. Doesn't even matter what he's saying, his tone is almost always pleasantly soothing.
You should see what my auntie's taught her cats to do, when they're hungry they go on two legs, put their front legs up and together, and make begging motions.
Cutest.
Thing.
Ever.

The film Punisher: War Zone. That movie is absolutely insane and ever since the first time I watched it, it's been my all-time favorite movie based off of a comic series. Other than that, there's always Tumblr...Just a few minutes on there and I'm feeling pretty good. Or not...I follow some creepy blogs on there in addition to the more light-hearted ones.

I'll be that guy; my girlfriend. Whatever be happening (and recently, lots be happening), she's always there and she always cheers me up.

Failing that, Big Bang Theory, Archer or playing Final Fantasy (but not FFXIII-3: LR) or MGS.

EDIT: Or sweet and sour chicken.
Yeah, your girlfriend never fails to brighten my mood...

*Ahem*

OT:

Cats. Even if they don't do anything, I find myself cheering up around cats. There's a kitten in my neighbourhood that always comes for a quick stroke and cuddle whenever I find myself walking home after about 11pm; always go to bed with a smile on my face after that.

A pretty girl smiling at me. seriously, that just puts a spring in your step.
Other than that, my two youngest sisters. The youngest is 2 and adorable in every way possible, the other one is 19 and completely insane. always makes me laugh.

It's great to have something to look forward to, even if the hype is out of control at this point.

Even when he's breaking down crying on the birthday of his son?
OT: for me it would have to be jontron. Some of those episodes of his will always crack me up regardless of how down I am.

Smoking a bowl. Everything is instantly better under the influence of some fine cannabis. You know, assuming of course it's legal under your local municipality.

Well, almost everything is better. Sushi is the one food that doesn't mix with weed well.

Well, I did specify "almost", but even that moment, sad as it was, usually makes me feel better in a bittersweet way. Sympathy being what it is.

Someone beat me to Kyary, but that doesn't matter because Kyary.

So catchy and adorable, even if the video and song are a little bittersweet.

Failing that, I dunno. Comedic stuff? Hanging out with my best friend? Cats?

Eating cake, cooking with my boyfriend, going to the movies, drinking coffee with my best friend, buying new clothes, whenever anyone tells me somehow I made them laugh and the feeling I get when I'm helpful.

Schadenfreude. Even if it's really specific. Like today I read about Gwyneth Paltrow. That's the easiest way, though winning at "pool" with a trick shot comes as a close second.
