I fucking hate U2.
Hope you don't use I tunes then, you get their marvellous new unwanted cacophony for free!!!

I can't stand people that belittle everything someone achieves because they are so god damn awesome. Points to most online FPS players or World of Warcraft raiders.

OP: People who can't eat properly.

As in, people who chew with their mouths open, slurp things, make excessive noises...

Bleugh, I can't cope with it.

With The Sopranos I could watch all of the violent death/torture/rape scenes but I could not watch Tony Soprano eat.
Ha, that is my better half to a tee! She hates that degree of etiquette with a passion.

I'd say for me it's really animal torture/killing for entertainment. If I hear about it or read about it, it makes my blood boil. My hatred for people who are cruel to animals is a spike in my gut.

That's not to say that cruelty to people, or in general is not bad to me- it's completely deplorable. But something about how we are 'supposed' to be above this kind of behavior towards other, 'lesser' life forms has been ingrained in me, and seeing this admittedly ephemeral rule violated sends me into an emotional rage.

EDIT: Oh, this might not technically constitute 'disgust' in the strictest sense... well, it's one of the emotions I feel towards the perps, so I'll let it ride!
Don't get me wrong, I do not condone the torture or killing of animals for entertainment and abhor the wastage of animal life i.e. killing an animal for their skin and not using the rest. However, I dislike people who value animal life over the lives of other human beings.

I also can't stand watching people eat at buffets, especially obese people ugh...

riiiiight....

while this might be a statement best reserved for R&P I don't think it would find much disagreement here

and that would be putting being a good "Christian" over being a good person...to be specific people who throw their kids out for being gay

I mean you don't think gayness is ok then fine, if you stipulated that they "couldn't do that kind of thing" under your house I'd call you a hypocrite but [I/]fine[/I] its your house your rules

but as soon as you cease contact or throw them out then you lose all sympathy from me and are a terrible person
I don't mind people who are gay just as long as they don't try to influence me and my own with all their joy and optimism and goodwill towards oth- oh wait you're talking about homosexuals. Boy I read that one wrong. In all seriousness, people that pull that shit aren't acting like a good Christian seeing as that involves hatred and judging others, things Christ was extremely against.

OT: knee jerking dumb-fucks that look for any reason to be offended, they drive me up a wall.

1. people who don't observe personal space... I mean c'mon do you really really need to be rubbing against my back, standing close enough to see my pin. I don't mind when you're on a crowded train/bus, but when there is space... it's creepy, disturbing and creepy. Back off a little, give me space.

2. I hate people who are entrenched in a point of view who are 'just right', disengage, change conversation demote their friend status if they have one. Thats not to say I don't like people with opinions, but I like to look at both sides of an argument, to have a debate with give and take, when it's just right and wrong, I can't hold with that.

3. I worked in a poundstretcher once, it was a filthy shop. Ever since then I've had a thing with those sorts of shops, poundland is the worst, I can 'feel' this layer of slime over everything, it freaks me out, and they serve food in those shops, and people buy it! and eat it!

People who are constantly on their cell phones. You're driving, get off your damn phone and pay attention to the road. You're in a movie theater, shut the fuck up so the people around you can enjoy the show. You're at a restaurant, put the damn thing away and enjoy the company you're physically with instead of making it awkward for everyone around you.

Also, I use an iPhone 4. I didn't even want an iPhone (I was perfectly happy with my old black Razr), but I was given it as a gift by my sister. I don't use it for anything other than phone calls and texting. I have ZERO interest in apps, web browsing, gaming, etc. with my cell phone. So next time some fuckwit looks down on me with genuine pity because I didn't shell out hundreds of my hard-earned dollars to replace my still-completely-functional phone with the latest version, I might just have to introduce their jaw to the curb. But I'll probably just continue my current course of action, which mostly consists of mocking them in my head for being a bunch of marketing-brainwashed idiots.
I'm with you on this. I still use an older model Samsung and some people just make fun of it. While:

1) It still bloody works
2) I can makes phone calls with it like any other mobile phone can
3) I can text message aswell
4) It actually last longer than a day before it needs to be recharged
And 5) It isn't fragile like fuck.

I can understand and get behind that sentiment, although I do acknowledge that some people can form close bonds with animals, bonds like family, and while not valuing ALL animals above other people, certainly those pets can mean the world to some.
