Leather jackets. I'm bringing them back.
I don't know, but at my school there are quite many people who wear leather jackets, I'm one of them.

OP: Unfortunately things like patriotism and values seem to be "yesterday" nowadays...

Guitar music in the charts.

It's nice that The Strokes and Radiohead's latest albums are charting, but it's certainly not the impact they used to have. I'm personally a bit fed up of auto-tuned r&b/pop dance hybrid tracks about getting wasted. Of course, it's a phase and this sort of thing goes full circle.

Ahh, Pogs, they were amazing.

Pokemon trading cards
Furbies
Those fold up scooters which you could pimp with flashing wheeles
The skateboreds you used with your fingers

I was thinking of all those things as well when I saw the thread topic :)
Also, I was one of the many that collected pogs. Pogs were bloody amazing. They just seemed to disappear over night though.

Enthusiasm for space exploration seems to have waned a great deal. Its been over 40 years since we first landed on the moon, and look how far we haven't come since then. There have still only been 12 people to set foot on another astronomical body... its a disgrace.

Fortunately I'm in a position where I can work to change that, but sheesh
