Okay, I agree with lots of the above, so I'm going to name some things which haven't been mentioned yet.

Point Pleasant - yes, it was a soap opera. However, it was the most interesting and thrilling soap opera I've ever seen. The idea behind it was clever, the casting was pretty good and the writing was actually solid as well. It did not deserve to go down in 13 episodes.
Moonlight- Much of the above. It was kind of clever, casting was good as well and I just overall liked the idea behind it.
Yes- This band was awesome, period.
The old Genesis- and with this I mean the Peter Gabriel Genesis. There aren't enough silly costumes and stuff like that around these days.
The old Lucas Arts- the Lucas Arts from the days of Grim Fandango and all that bollocks. I want my point 'n click adventures back!
The Good Cartoons of Yesteryear- Grim and Evil, Time Squad, Invader Zim, Sheep in the Big City, stuff like that.
Good Anime series- I haven't watched any lately, but I miss the stuff like Wolf's Rain, Cowboy Bebop, Last Exile, Haibane Renmei and probably some others I have missed as well (but please feel free to add others, I need new material to watch ^^).
