The first time I saw Jaws I was pretty young, so I refused to go swimming anywhere (even pools) for weeks.

The very first time i saw Stephen King's It (i was maybe 10 years old). It affected me for about a week, to the point where i would refuse to go outside in the rain.

There is a picture online (I won't post it here and I refuse to look for it) of what can only be described as a heavily photoshopped dog, all in red tint with a dark background.

If you know what it is, well, you understand. If you don't, you're lucky. If you want to post it here for me, for the love of god SPOILER IT.

Oh just films the thread title was misleading... I can't think of one off the top of my head. I think the original Omen scared the everloving fuck out of me as a little kid.
Having a gun shot at me was pretty scary. Not as scary as getting stabbed in the arm though.

Which was still not as scary as accidentally stepping on a rattlesnake. That fucking wins. I'm pretty sure I peed a little.

I always thought that picture was kind of funny.

OT: Anyone walking around the house at night. Even if I know they're there, and even if I know they're a family member, it freaks me out.

I got caught in a huge storm just off the coast of Torquay. It came in within minutes of these pitch black clouds appearing on the horizon. And from where we were, we could only just see the shoreline.

Everyone but my uncle, being the captain and having to control the damn thing, had to get back inside the cabin and sat there clinging to the furniture in our life jackets while the waves knocked the boat far above what I'd consider comfortable angles.

When we eventually made it back the waves were that strong that we couldn't avoid being smashed into the harbour wall side on, causing pretty severe damage to the hull.

It hasn't put me off travelling by water but it was one hell of a scary ride.

I think I know what you're talking about, wasn't their a video of it that youtube banned? I think it was made up (or not OoOoOo) that the video caused people to die or something, hence I never watched it. I was a kid though, how can you blame me? :p

Edit: Never mind already posted, not what I was thinking about, still the video of that guy freaked the crap out of me too.

Actually, now that I've seen that at NOT 2 A.M., I want to make it my avatar. One sec...

There we go. Not nearly as bad.

EDIT: Just found it was off 4chan, and I don't want to incite hatred.

Hmmmm... That picture would make a good meme....

EDIT: Scariest moment for me.... Shrooms. For about an hour, I was scared out of my mind.

Zero from Kirby.

No, the guy may not seem all that scary now, but I was but a wee lass when I first encountered him, and...You know the rest.

Some an argue that Giygas is scarier, but he didn't phase me when I was little because I didn't really see him as anything more than a skull-shaped cloud. *Shrug*

[REC]

HOLY FUCK... O_O
I heard that was an extremely scary movie. I recently watched Quarantine, and I found it pretty scary. But I heard that it was a boring rip-off of [REC]. So I cannot imagine how scary [REC] is. I need to find out were to watch it.
Btw, can you tell me what it is about?
