I don't care if your spelling is poor. Have some consideration for others, the poster could be dyslexic or English could be his/her second language. Poor spelling does not make someones point invalid.
I'm 30, married, a father, and I don't watch cartoons. I also don't care if you don't like the same games or own the same platforms as me, just enjoy yourself.

I have never played any Half-Life, Fallout, Mass-Effect, Civilization, or Metal Gear solid Games (and plenty more)

i dont know what the escapist stereotype is exactly. slightly arrogant nerdy white guys who take video games very seriously?

I'm not sure what the stereotype is, but now that I think about it I might qualify:
I'm indifferent to Halo.
I haven't played MW2 but I know enough about it to say that if I did I'd hate it.
I watch ZP religiously and usually agree to some extent with Yahtzee, though Saints Row 2 is putting that to the test.
I just played Portal, which may have turned me into a Valve fanboy, though HL is falling into the just alright category.
Looks like I'm getting there. Is there any sort of charter of right thinking I can study to hurry the process along?

I don't go around saying things like "I've just lost my faith in humanity" or "I never had any faith in humanity in the first place" because that's a pretentious statement usually made by pretentious teenagers or young adults who have yet to grow out of their pretentious teenage phase.
I don't give a flying shit about the countless piracy threads that happen here. Seriously, what is it that makes you people bite? It's the exact same stuff over and over. Honestly, I can see both sides of the issue but I don't see how repeating my opinion on it over and over in any new piracy thread that pops up is not a waste of time.
