I don't think it'd be very different to now, just faster computers etc.; nothing on the 'world of tomorrow' scale.

The shitty music of today. The 1900's had such a great and diverse selection of music, from 30's jazz to 80's rock. How this past decade single-handedly ruined music, I will never know.

You know how people stereotype games for having music consisting of bleeps and bloops? Now, games are usually orchestrated while mainstream music has become synthesized bullshit. It's a complete reversal. Weird when you think about it.
[HEADING=1]THANK YOU![/HEADING]

I'm getting pretty sick of 99% of stuff played on the radio because most of it is synthesized rap or something equally bad (IMHO.)

1) Tech will continue to grow as always. Direct neuro link (aka Matix or GITS) to computers will be introduced, though questions on its safety, and a call to the return to classic tactile controls will curb its use slightly. Oddly its price is not bad, as game prices triple.

2) Games will become all DLC/mircotransactions. Game Stop rather than closing becomes the primary provider of electronic loans to people who run out money paying to play, selling game upgrades, and even find a away of selling used accounts and e-profiles for level 50 characters. GS-Banking is formed.

3) Facebook will be the first site to allow voting of actual poltical isssues but more importantly replaces TV as the arm of massive coporations who use it for marketing and product indoctrination...its quality and enjoyment drop by 50%. Luckily ppl can fall back on other social networking, though not actually talking or meeting people, that becomes social cliche and considered "that's so 2K" old person way of doing things. Wait that happening now O__O

4) The majority of people become mute because of social networking, and a race of smart talking apes evolves and takes over the world. only a few talking humans know the true war cry. "TAKE YOU HANDS OFF ME YOU DAMNED DIRTY APE"

Everthing that exists now. Think about it. Nothing stays not obsolete forever. There is always something better, faster, stronger whatever coming out

im just saying that most women aren't interested in science, and those that are, don't rise to the top of the game and become leaders of their field . there is many female scientists just not that many that people know of.
i'm going to university soon.

well, i wont discover radiation but I do hope i'll discover something new and unimaginable and i think i'll pass on succumbing to whatever I happen to discover :p

yes i do and you are TERRIBLY wrong.
She was not a farmwife who did chemistry in her spare time.
She was a physicist and a chemist.
She got a Nobel freakin' prize.
No casual chemist was going to get that.
You are obviously not aware of who she was.

Well I hope you do too! I consider any contribution to science and our human knowledge base to be the most noble of acts. Hopefully I can contribute in the future to our understanding of the "tree of life," since I am going to be studying phylogeny and evolutionary biology if everything works out in my undergraduate career.
I'm hopefully going to be studying Organic Chemistry and that's an area in which there's a LOT of research opportunities so I hope to finish my degree and get straight into research! :)
I never did become particularly interested in biology but having just have a look at this "tree of life" thing, it looks like a really worthwhile endeavor. best of luck to you :)
