You've got a point, it's impossible to prove something doesn't exist or something won't happen. And some people always look for a reason to indemnify themselves or someone/something else to blame.

I tend believe I'm not quite so arrogant as to believe I know whether or not there are any gods, I'm not on the fence because I want a back up plan, I'm there because I know that a god doesn't have to show himself, people just like to believe he would.
