Alright so long story short, my girlfriend and I of the past year and some change have split. I'm in classes with her for six hours a day and I really, really need to get off this freaking campus.

So I'm going to NYC for the day saturday, all by myself. I'm planning on going to the museum of natural history during the day, I was just wondering if anyone knew of anything good going on later that night (Nov. 6). I wanted to go see the New York Phil but they're in Europe (figures) does anyone have any suggestions for something that a guy in NYC by himself could go and have some fun with?

See the Sinfield Dinner BUT just from the outside and then make that little tune with your mouth and leave. The Inside Has A HUGE LINE and nothing like the real Dinner from the show :(

Go to the super awesome Toys "[backwards R]" Us, then the super awesome McDonald's. Just as a novelty, of course. That's all I've got. Last time I went to NYC I saw a few shows too, maybe you could try to get tickets or something, but they're probably sold out at this point.

I actually went inside that diner once. Actually called "Tom's Restaurant". They did have some good food there.

This sounds fantastic, I'll get to be a kid again!

And Tom's Diner doesn't really interest me that much, I'm assuming that there will be a huge line, there always is, and I'm sure the food is overpriced
