Things to see/do in Vancouver

I am going on a motorcycle trip across half of Canada, starting this Tuesday in Saskatchewan and ending in Vancouver but I do not know if there is any reason to stay. I know what I want to do in Edmonton and Drumheller but I cannot think of any reason for staying in Vancouver when I reach it besides staying the night then immediately high-tailing it back home through the Frasier Valley. I know there must be some escapists from the Vancouver area or have at least been there so I am asking you what to check out there.

I will only have a couple days to spend when I get there so how should I spend them after visiting both the West Edmonton Mall and Royal Tyrrell Museum in Alberta? Surprise me.

P.S. I am not sure if this belongs in advice given its overwhelmingly trivial nature but none the less it is still a question.

If it is nice head to Wreck Beach for some fun in the sand
Wander around Stanley Park as it is free
Hop on the sky train and try your luck at any of our several casions
If you have some money to spend and want to act silly go to Science World and be a kid
People watch along Granville Street. Just stay around the pedestrian mall. It gets scary after that point
If yer kinky spend the day at one of our many sex shops and get yer freak on!
Grab a skateboard and shred at our awesome Skatepark (the best one is the Skatepark next to Metro Town mall, which is also along our sky train).
Once yer there you will find much to amuse yourself
