Here we talk about things that scare the living crap out of of, may it be Clows, big spiders or Hannah Montana.

I'll start with a strange one, I am terrifed by the songs Barbie Girl. And if anyone here ever played the Wc3 mod "murder in sleeping town" they'll know why. You see, whenever the killer is close to a player that very song starts. So when I hear it I start looking around for Jack the Ripper to come and put that knife in my gut.

So anyway, dear escapistians, what are you scared of?

[small]-Are you afraid?

-Yes...

-Well you should be...

Cuz' you're on the escapist![/small]

-Small spaces. I'm horribly claustrophobic; I went to Carlsbad Caverns with my family and ventured up to the entrance. My stepdad mocked me until I came inside a bit, and then I got about a quarter of the way down and freaked out and had to hike all the way back up.

-Getting lost in a strange place. (Which is a very real possibility for me, because I work out in the middle of nowhere on trails and cattle fences, and I have absolutely no sense of direction.)

-Roller coasters. I really don't like them. Especially not the ones that flip you upside down or have you strapped in so your feet are dangling free. (I also hate that damn pirate-ship ride.)

First and foremost: spiders. Anything with eight legs and a body larger than my pinky-nail paralyzes me with fear.
Second: uhhh... losing my good hat?
Third: Spiders.

- pennies. they are so pointless, and they are always found in the most odd places! whenever i am given a penny in change all i can imagine are the multiple places it could have been! and i think of pennies instead of any other coin like that are because i tend to find pennies everywhere more than any other coin. they creep me out...

The Nelly the elephant song! You know the bit where it goes "woooooooooooOOOOOAAAAH!!!!" that's really creepy I always think these little men are like running towards the speakers from like "the other side" and if the chorus doesn't start quick enough they'll jump out and eat my face...

More normal stuff: things with long legs (I think that was Alien's influence to be honest), heights, the dark and small spaces. I also can't step over a threshold 'til I've turned the light on in case the door slams shut and I'm trapped in the dark.

And now I'm terrified of your avatar Shycte...

Heights and moths, also, inanimate objects which have eyes. I think it is because I played a lot of Rayman.

Umm... things that lead to my horrible mutilation and generally brutal demise?
Yeah, clowns are pretty bad too.

Water that isn't in a swimming pool. I fish, but I hate swimming. I can swim, but after a scarring event in my childhood I haven't swum in an ocean/lake since then.

That and heights, I'm not too big a fan of heights.

I have to say aquatic predators scare me;Bull Sharks, Crocodiles, Alligators ect. I live in Florida, and you're never really 100% safe anywhere if it be a lake, river, pond, or the ocean! O_O

Oh who am I kidding?! Predatory animals scare me in general, paticularly ones that are known to stalk humans as prey.

As far as small things go, I hate blood sucking insects, parasitic organisms, and venomous animals that inhabit by area.

Edit: Definantly Heights also!!

Besides my horrid fear of bugs, I have another fear that hasn't come back to me in a while, you see I used to have terrible nightmares, usually centered around either sea monsters or well whales, I would be stranded in teh water with the huge beasts, and I mean huge, my dream scaled them up alot. I recently found out it's called cetaphobia and will be using it as an excuse when I'm older because it sounds fancy.

Spider....
Bugs other than spiders....
Enclosed spaces (which is odd seeing as I've gone cave exploring)
Heights (which is odd since I've climbed cliffs before)

I used to be a pussy but I've been dealing with it :)

Spiders, large crowds, being looked at (go go social anxiety!!!!), heights.

I guess the only "weird" or unusual phobia I have is a mild case of trypophobia.

Also, when I was younger, I had a paralysing fear of boat propellers. Not that Iencountered many boat propellers in real life, but watching submarine movies could reduce me into a shivering, teary ball of misery.

Cows, cows are evil, horrible creatures. They're always watching you and then they follow you across a field and try to kill your dog...not that I hate them or anything.

Elevators. I freaking hate elevators.

Also, it sort of fits that I'm kinda claustrophobic.

I hate getting lost when I'm on my own. It doesn't bother me so much when I'm with other people, I tend to let them spazz out instead.
