My Paitent on Tf2 last night was drunk, and he was playing just as normal as a soldier.
Your what? Your patient? Are you a doctor?

Getting drunk isn't too bad, at least you're competitive.

When you're stoned, its very hard to be angry at the guy who's spawncamping you.
Goodness no, Medic. But Medic-Buddy doesn't sound like a helpful term to throw at people who probably don't play.

It was good fun though.
(After a round win.)
"Your drunk, aren't you?"

When I had a SNES I used to think pushing X really fast made the loading times quicker.
There was no load time on the SNES. Or the NES, or the Genesis, or really anything from that era.

OT: I have my own idiosyncrasies. Nothing really major, but I still find myself hitting buttons to try and skip scenes I know I cannot skip. Otherwise nothing really, I do play around and try things with games, but once I discover something is not working I tend to leave it.

I ment as in the dungeon loading screens from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past where the screen went black as the new area loaded up, or the tube things on Super Metroid to enter a new area - although those were pretty quick - or from the Seven Stars Mario RPG.

I was reading a post about pokemon and I remembered that when I had blue and red someone told me that if you hold a while the pokemon is being captured or press a each time the ball shakes it helps catch it and I did that for every game after that even though I'm not sure if it helped or not. Do you have something you do even though you aren't sure that it helps?
Omg I used to do that all the time, so much so I forgot anyone told me to do it I just thought it was a game mechanic, wow.

I tend not to use any potions or grenades or things I get in games to save them for some time I might need them later. Usually leads to dying a lot and an endless supply of extras.
I do the exact same thing. Ill save up so many weapons and items that I have a ton of them at the end.(which in some games can make the end really easy)

Hold A+B+Up just as the pokéball hits the pokémon.

IT WORKS DAMMIT.
I shall obey...

In shooters, I tend to swivel frantically in a light vehicle to avoid fire. I'm not sure if it helps.

Obscure alert: I always have my character take a weekly bath and trip to the church on Tax Day in Patrician 3. I'm not sure it does anything for my character's reputation or in any way helps my trade empire, but I do it anyway.

I always pressed A repeatedly in Pokemon games, and I tend to save the strong supplies for later, except most of the times I never get to actually use them because unless a certain sequence/opponent is giving me an overly hard time, I save them.
yea me too. 225 full restores and counting.
those A buttons are pretty hardy also.

When I'm injured in MW2 and I'm hiding (like in campaign, not so much in multiplayer) I always wiggle the left stick a little bit to make my view move a little, as I'm convinced it makes me heal faster.
