Hey, leave the little guys alone. Seriously they have poison barbs. You don't want to fuck with them.sammyfreak said:Platypus [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platypus]

Nothing compared to Uluru (still Ayer's Rock to me). Seriously, we advertise it as the biggest rock in the world. You cannot shame us.sammyfreak said:Silence, you great grandmother was probably a harlot.PurpleRain said:Hey, leave the little guys alone. Seriously they have poison barbs. Besides, what kind of landscape is this?

I live on the coast. All sun and surf here. Pity I don't surf.Saskwach said:Nothing compared to Uluru (still Ayer's Rock to me). Seriously, we advertise it as the biggest rock in the world. what about one hundred AND one? unless youre doing it the america way and say one hundred one....AnGeL.SLayer said:on topic, If you spelled out all the numbers and tried to find the letter 'A' you wouldn't come across it until you reached a thousand.
Is it? surely it's total energy would just be getting lower and lower? Or am I missing something really obvious here?Indigo_Dingo said:No offense, but thats physically impossible.sms_117b said:Jupiter emits more energy than it receives.
really? they are yellow and black where I come from.Alphavillain said:Staedtler pencils are black and red because they were big sponsors on the National Socialist (Nazi) Party in Germany in the 1930s (the Nazi's colours being red and black).
I believe jamiemac is correct. If Jupiter were reflecting nearly all of the energy it recieved, as well as giving off energy from the planet itself, it could technically be considered as emitting more energy than it recieves.jamiemac said:Is it? surely it's total energy would just be getting lower and lower? the platypus's poison is the only poison that attacks nerves to cause immense pain, but not death.PurpleRain said:Hey, leave the little guys alone. Seriously they have poison barbs. You don't want to fuck with them.sammyfreak said:Platypus [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platypus]
any matter won't always be in one state, look at water it's both a solid and a liquid and goes thru that change a lot, i guess by your logic we can't classify water as a solid or a liquidAndiGravity said:The trouble is that glass doesn't just exist as an amorphous solid. It can be an amorphous liquid, too, and the glass transition phase isn't properly considered to be either of those. To further complicate matters, at least when it comes to "glass glass" the transition phase is not clearly defined and is dependent on physical factors outside the material in question.
actually only you can see the rainbow you are seeing, everyone else who sees the rainbow sees a different one even if it looks similar to the one you are seeing, it's notThe_root_of_all_evil said:Rainbows are invisible from behind.
Not entirely true, as according to Quantum Electrodynamics (QED) empty space has energy (and therefore mass) and as such is not actually empty...The_root_of_all_evil said:99% of everything is empty space.(Quantum Physics)
It is only because water's triple point (the point in pressure/temperature space where all three forms g/l/s can co-exist) is at amospheric pressure and 273.16K (0.01 degrees C) that we can easily change between the three phases... Water actually has many well-defined phases, unlike glass, where they are very similar (more alike in fact to some sort of 'supercritical fluid', which is a liquid/gas composition where the two phases are actually equivalent).cleverlymadeup said:any matter won't always be in one state, look at water it's both a solid and a liquid and goes thru that change a lot, i guess by your logic we can't classify water as a solid or a liquidAndiGravity said:The trouble is that glass doesn't just exist as an amorphous solid. I didn't want to bring in Ether or Dark Matter as well.Lukeje said:Not entirely true, as according to Quantum Electrodynamics (QED) empty space has energy (and therefore mass) and as such is not actually empty...The_root_of_all_evil said:99% of everything is empty space.(Quantum Physics)
