I hate it when politicians who's paycheck I have to help pay hold invitation only "town hall" forums on stupid government programs I'll have to help pay for. Our illustrious state senator held a one-sided "forum" on universal "free" (read that as taxpayer funded" health care today. Of course, I'm not on his list of big-time campaign donors nor am I a lobbyist helping to push the bill forward, so I wasn't invited. Anyone who was against the bill had to stand outside the building if they even knew the event was being held. I saw on the local news that at least one guy who dared question why the general public wasn't allowed to attend the town hall meeting was escorted away by police. He raised his voice in anger but didn't lash out physically at all.

I suppose we might as well get used to this as long as the communists are running the government.
