My friends and family.

EDIT to avoid low content post: College. Turns out high school is never really over. Hopefully grad school in another country will have mature people.

Extra credits. I used to love extra credits "hipster scarf activate" and even watched them before they were on the escapist, Hell they are what brought me to the escapist and I did continue to watch them for a bit once they moved to penny arcade but after a while I just lost interest

Avenged Sevenfold and various other similar bands.

Boy, was I wrong. I can't listen to that stuff anymore. My music taste as a young teenager was total bollox.

Dang! I thought I'd get to be unique and say something no one else said. It is for a different reason so that's something I guess....right? :)

All well, I second Extra Credits. I watched them as soon as they came out each week on The Escapist but the way that they handled the break-up irked me way too much. I'll still catch an episode from time to time but I just really don't care what those guys think anymore.

Off the top of my head, Naruto. I used to be a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge Narutard back in the day, but sometime into the second series was when I started to lose interest. Characters were being introduced, only to be cast aside and completely forgotten about. Very few characters really developed further after the 2 year time jump, which is unfortunate because the side characters I thought were one of the show's biggest strengths. Sasuke's role as a villain is bland and generic as hell compared to the other villains we saw. Everyone had unique powers and strategies that made the actual fight scenes interesting to watch because you didn't know what to expect, but come Shippuden now it's fallen into "To be a competent ninja, you must out God-mod the last guy!"

I don't know what happened, but it just seemed like the series was going backwards or going in directions that just weren't that interesting. Right around the time when Deidara died fighting Sasuke was when I said "DONE!" and I've never looked back.

Fable. LOVED the first two, only played about half of 3. It was just meh.

And Family Guy. Loved it in college, but either I matured or it lowered in quality. Either way, meh.

Warhammer 40k, the game that is, anybody who has been involved in the game for 5+ years should know what I mean.

Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the fluff, have 40+ 40k & Warhammer books on my shelf, but I hate GW more and more every time some kid convinces their parents to buy them a box of Ultrasmurfs for $65 that cost $35 when I was their age (about 10 years). Fuck you Games Workshop, with a big rusty choppa.
See, I still like the game & the fluff (always loved the fluff)... but I'm definitely with you on hating Games Workshop and whoever does their pricing, even in the UK (that is to say, the source of all WH40K goodness) everything's s'damned expensive. I get all my models from other hobbyists these days... *le sigh* I kinda feel sorry for their staff, because they're basically forced to buy shitloads of the products (granted with a piddly staff discount), but don't really get remunerated for all the extra work they do. You've really got to love the hobby to work at a GW outlet, because most of my GW friends have long since left or moved up to head office to different depts (including one guy who's now at 'Eavy Metal).

Hell... *dons monocle and a superior air* I remember the good old days when paints cost £1!
I wanted to play WarHammer once but I saw the price tags and wiped my hands of it. I dunno how people can afford to play that it is insanely expensive I cut my loses before I even started.

Sound about right both naruto and bleach did that to me for all the reasons you said and the fact that they kept contradicting their own continuity though Naruto wasn't too too bad for it they did a few things but compared to bleach it wasn't to bad. Anywho after 2 years of reading the same fight I stopped caring n stopped reading both in Naruto and Bleach. I still love One Piece though.

World of Warcraft I guess. Cataclysm hit, don't need to say much more that that. The game just got boring.
Same here. When I first started playing WoW and got comfortable with it, I was so sure that I would be addicted to the game for a long time. Cataclysm also ended my love for it, except it was the community that killed it for me. Cata caused prominent rifts to form and players became hostile to each other. Not to mention that the content was tougher and required you to spend a lot of time doing it. I played the game casually, so I wanted to steer away from all of that. Except for trying out the two new races and the revamped starting zones, I never touched the new Cata 80+ content. Canceling my subscription felt a bit bittersweet but I am so glad I left.

I loved me some Carrot Cake...but now I just can't stand cake. I kinda like cake but I just grew out of it. I can eat it sure but, I always seem to get pieces with way too much icing. Also Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Wii make me not want to play Double Dash or any of the other titles. Sonic All-Star Racing also makes me want to stay away from Mario Kart in general though I don't hate those older titles and, I don't wanna say I hate the new ones...not yet.

Also Gamestop. I loved that place but then I started working there...then I discovered Play-n-Trade...then I discovered Amazon...I plan on getting Xenoblade Chronicles from them and then never going back.

I'll 2nd (3rd?) Bleach. I'm still reading it because I was some sort of payoff/ending but I definitely don't love it anymore. My problem with it is that the SS Arc was awesome and introduced the politics of Soul Society alongside all of the interesting captain characters, al of that quickly got cast aside for the Arrancar and the pace slowed to slower than glacial. We're still waiting to find out about Ichigo's dad's shinigami powers and he was shown to possess them neary 3 years ago now.

All in all: Shite.

The Sword of Truth books. First one was cookie-cutter fantasy, but very well written and readable. After that, the series became some of the best fantasy I've ever seen. But then it jumped the shark on a rocket-powered jetski and turned into total mush. I don't even enjoy high fantasy anymore as a result.

Pokemon.

I just can't get into Black/White, and I've had nothing more than apathy for Black/White 2.

Final Fantasy is quickly moving into that territory as well, which is distressing considering that Final Fantasy IX is my favorite game.

And boy, did Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations spoil me before I tried going back to Sonic Adventure 2...

Anime, the cliches are so abundant that you can predict the entire series by just the first 5 episodes. And dont get me started on shonen aka plot armor + friendship = victory. Also video games as a whole. I think it has something to with me getting older as well as the community changing.

BioWare games.

Their games after becoming EA (ME2 and 3, DA2 and SWTOR) have been fun, but are not the pinnacle of gaming that Mass Effect and KOTOR were.

Story-wise, the tendencies to sacrifice plot for melodrama are getting old, and there's been a complete loss of subtlety and nuance.

That Guy With The Glasses and Channel Awesome.

What can I say?
Over the past 5 years, they've gone from

A few really cool and awesome guys to...
More guys that are sorta cool...
Even more guys that aren't as cool...
Spoony leaving... (He's still awesome though.)
Pushing up Roses leaving...
Nostalgia Critic leaving (and even at that point I thought NC was getting really stale)...
And a really crummy and crowded site.

Also TV and everything in it.
I hardly watch it anymore. The only reason why I have a TV is so I can play my PS2. Yeah a PS2, not a PS3. I'm holding on to that thing and passing it on to my friggin children 'cause it's an awesome system that I still like.

There are a sizable percentage of video games that I don't like to play anymore.
Anything along the lines of a leveling up system or grinding I find to be really boring. So a lot of RPGs fall down.

Anime. I used to be really into it, and I don't hate all anime ever, I just really don't actively seek out new shows or anything.
I went to Otakon over the summer and didn't have a whole lot of fun, mainly because it's an anime-centered convention and I am much more into Western comics and video games.

Bioware.

Dragon Age 2 cured me of my fanboyism for them.

The events surrounding ME3 have confirmed that the devs that made Neverwinter Nights no longer exists.
