you know about those role playing servers?
i could make either a WW2 server (everyone in nazi skins fighting everyone else in american skins! yaaaah!!!)
a cold war server (we'll play vietnam, korean war, and maybe some stealth missions like in black ops)
a red dawn server (i just saw that movie and god dammit, russia doesn't scare me anymore but north korea does, like in homefront.)

now imagine all this....but there's still that monster problem

But yes, this is my suggestion. Would it not be awesome? Thin of it as a different world like the nether: Moon rocks instead of stone, Pools of obsidian everywhere, aliens as mobs . . . it'd be awesome!

Firstly, a way to repair tools and armor, it doesn't have to be incredibly efficient, just a bit more so than the current set up. Secondly, different types of food available, right now we have 3 things, pork bread and fish, and quite frankly I want potatoes so I can make fish and chips.

A brief tutorial would be nice. Nothing fancy. Something like Yahtzee said in his review. Notch has said that he would like to at least tell the player how to open the inventory, so this is one we might get.

Trap doors and sluice gates.

Maybe some primitive guns that use Redstone as an ignitor and flint can be turned into bullets. Maybe a lower rate of fire than a bow, perhaps degrades faster and attracts mobs, but more powerful.

A sleep system.

Weather patterns and seasons.

More uses for gold.

A resource-detector, to more easily find materials.

More ways to get the different dye colors.

An easier way to kill those God-forsaken fuckmothering Creepers.

A way to cook things faster than having six or seven furnaces stacked on one another.

Prety much all of these things are needed...

Also: a fucking map! Fine, make it craftable, make its ingredients rare, just let me have some way of knowing where in the world I am. All it absolutely must do is show land, water, and the player's current position. Optional: have it show tunnels when underground so that I won't get lost, as well as different colors for different materials.

There's a soft lighting mod for minecraft that comes with a minimap, very handy.

Other than that I'd love to see one of two excellent ideas that were posted on the minecraft forum; the drain block which lets water and items through but not players and the tameable tortoise that can carry a chest/workbench/furnace on it's shell. In fact lets have both.

1. I want a dynamic world filled with living NPCS that build, harvest, interact, explore etc. Now most would tell me to get some mods. However I want NPCs out there who may get together, grow in population and literally build up their own shelters, farms which will eventually grow to a town as they gather more. And if you live in this world for a LONG period of time it may develop into a city with large buildings etc. This feature will give true life to minecraft.

Maybe im evil but im the sort of guy that would wait till they're all inside and then burn their town to the floor.
