Damn.... It's pretty amazing to see so many guys out there being pissed all the time about their girlfriends, and yet they're still with them.

Sex is that important to you, or is it something else? I don't get it.

How boring would it be if your friends had exactly the same opinion as you and liked all the same things? For me, I like conflict. It gives me an excuse for "me" time, gives me funny stories to tell the guys, and keeps me honest and open minded. I can get sex anywhere; I am confident, intelligent, funny, social, and good looking. Sex is not the motivator for me, and probably not for most of these people, it's the fact that relationships have to be a mix of individuality, differences, and similarities. Relationships are extremely complex, it's as simple as that

It always seems to me like the second poster in these sort of posts always takes the serious road and avoids the question or makes a generic copout. This happens a LOT here, just answer the bloody question and get on with it.

As far as my girlfriend/soon-to-be-wife goes, the one thing she does that upsets me is take shit from her friends and family. So called friends mind you. These are some of the most degrading individuals I've ever met, but because they are your superiors (in most cases) you listen to what they have to say.

She was told by two senior members of her temple that she should get a nose job. This upset her to no end, but made no effort at a retort. The second time this was mentioned to her I was there and they asked my opinion on the subject. I suggested she get a nose job right after she (older lady) got a tummy tuck. That didn't go over well with a few of the other member, but it made her feel better.

Stand up for yourself, just because they are older does not make them wiser.

Actually, I was referring to a Buddhist temple. Usually before ceremonies the old ladies are sitting around gossiping, which doesn't seem very Buddhist to me. The funny thing is I can remember the same thing happening at my grandma's church when I was little. I guess gossip is a universal language. lol

To keep it on topic, I find it irritating when My friends GF's try and be friends with me. Thats annoying as hell. I mean I don't want to sound like a sociopath (I am a sociopath) but I know that there's a good chance they will be long gone in three months time. My group of friends are all early twenties/late teens and Ive been around long enough to know shit rarely lasts. so no, I don't want to be your new best buddy I don't care if you and Jesse are gonna be together forever and everything will be super special awesome. I beg the differ, there was once a time when I "Smooth-talked" (smooth-talked being the layman's way of saying that I said a bunch of things she couldn't quite get a grasp on) a girl into the sack. I didn't talk about the implication and generation of nuclear fusion cores, I just used larger and rather more unused, words to convey a standard and valid point. Before you go on about how, "Girls don't get "jiggy" with that talk in one night!" (or however the hell you might say it) first off... You're right, it didn't take the magical one-nighter, I just acquired her phone number, called 2 days later, had a 3 dates, had sex, then "figured out" that we're just not meant for each other. Which wasn't too much of a problem, since I wasn't looking for a relationship anyway. Overall, it took about a week, but I didn't mind. Mindless beast sex, largely integrated into our society by large "Frat" individuals, isn't quite the saucer of Sake that I like. I like to look my "lover" in the eye, knowing their interests and dreams during intercourse, even though it is inevitably useless. Of coarse I'm not really the one sex - one girl type of guy anyway. I do enjoy relationships.

That wasn't so much of a statement, as me pointing out that in that case, you certainly weren't getting anywhere with that woman because of your logic.
