Hello escapist, Pegghead here if you dun goofed with your fork into your left eye whilst eating a true cake recently.

I was watching a video (this one to be precise) and in it I again noticed the

"Did you say chocolate? Chocolate?! CHOCOLATE?!!!!!"

meme used. I remember seeing the very episode of Spongebob this one debuted in when I was younger and, while I laughed my little ass off at it at the time, I don't think I ever saw it growing into an internet meme.

So what things are you surprised became famous memes on the internet?

For years and years my group of friends would use the Gary Motherf***ing Oak meme before it actually became an internet thing. Then one day I found a demotivational poster with those very words on it.
As it would turn out, we weren't the only ones who hated that motherf***er.

A very well thought out and detailed description of the meme itself.

I've never understood Rickrolling. It doesn't piss me off, I just don't get why people find it funny to do. Also the whole Betty White hosting SNL was just weird:http://www.cracked.com/blog/more-like-betty-whyte-amiright/

I heard you liek Mudkip. Still not sure what it's from, and unlike Leroy Jenkins or Immah firin mah lazer, it just wouldn't come up that often, it almost has to be used out of context. Ditto for Desu Desu, or however the fuck that one goes.

I once exclaimed something to the effect of, "OWSHITFUCKOW they all have SPEARS!" When playing Rome Total War, and my friend who was listening said "Welcome to Gaul!" And it's been a big inside joke ever since.

There's a new meme floating around called "Strutting Leo" as someone snapped a rather odd photo of Leo Dicaprio in the streets. Now he's being photoshopped into random pictures. It's kind of like the "Prancing Cera" meme. (Not sure if I got the name of that one right.)

Those surprised me. Then again, fan girls are powerful creatures.

It's quite wide spread, not as much as others but... Mass Effect 2 has spawned quite a few.

I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favourite _________ on the Citadel.

Ah, ______ we have dismissed these claims.

____....ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL.

The one where people place something in Tali's face.

And this thing.

Advice dog spinoffs. Advice dog spinoffs everywhere.
