Things you've only done for attention?

Yesterday I impulsively decided to dye my ordinarily auburn hair green, mostly just for the reactions and attention I'd get. Except it turned out more like a highlighter greenish yellow, but that's beside the point.
It made me wonder: Have any of you ever done any particularly strange or hilarious things merely to draw attention to yourself?

I used a quill for an entire school day...teachers were laughing too hard for them to notice I couldn't write fast enough do notes, so it was worth it.

I started talking about how to sneak explosives onto planes in math class (don't remember how the conversation got there), but I said "I can think of at least three ways to bring explosives onto a plane if one is allowed to wear their own clothing" That got their attention.

I've dyed my hair bright orange mostly to see the reaction from people. I've also spontaneously yelled 'Ninety-Eight!' out the car window. There's also some other stuff that I've done, but I'm much to lazy to type out all the random stuff that I've done. Yes, I've got a whole laundry list of 'em.

I was the biggest attention whore you ever met up until the last few months of primary school. So yeah, a lot of things.
This, completely the same.
It worked though. End of Primary school were the most perfect days of my life.

I carried a ukulele around for a week and played for anyone who asked. It was the happiest week of my life.

Lol That's great. I also tried to do something like this, only with a harmonica.

As it turns out, harmonicas sound awful when you don't know how to play them.

So you never got that shame coupled with the realisation not many people actually like you, they just think it's funny to watch you?

Welcome to the Escapist, by the way. [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.175223-Welcome-to-the-Escapist]
Cheers.
And no, the people liked me (at least I think they did... bah, the past doesn't matter.) I didn't care too much who the object of their laughter was, I merely enjoyed having them laugh. (Plus I wasn't merely a clown.)
I regret it a bit. Recollection of some of the events embarrasses me,(luckily I'm no longer in contact with any other people who may also remember) as did the realisation that I was somewhat the same type of child as those I dislike myself as an adult.

No, I prefer to avoid attention because when the spotlight's on you, your flaws are easier to see. Metaphorically, of course.

There is a kid in my class who likes to bite and hug people randomly for attention.

As a girl I'm naturally an attention whore, but I seem to have gotten it under control in the last year or so.

But in high school me and some friends would dress like angels, demons, faeries, zombies, ninjas, pirates, etc on any regular school day for the lulz.

But IRL, nothing. I keep quiet.
So quiet I may be behind you. That creepy shadow? It may be me. Turn around and look...
