Hello! Online I post threads with a bitter and cynical, yet often humorous (or I attempt to be humorous) point of view! It seems time and time again I can't help but denounce 'Families First' policies simply because this ideal is what I consider a flawed one. Gamers especially are probably aware that when someone fucks something up instantly games, friends, or even music gets blamed. Then when someone does something right like getting passing with honors it's entirely because you were raised right by incredibly perfect parents.

No credit is given to the friend who helped him pass though, perhaps it's because he did a few drugs? No credit is given to the teachers, the people a lot of kids see far more then there parents. And very little credit is given to the child who actually did the damn work, he gets a bit of praise 'we're proud of you!' And then the parents brag on and on.

By now you're probably wondering where the hell I'm going with this, well, It's clear I feel bitter towards people and time after time I find something that cheers me up a lot.

'Massachusetts YMCA bans parents from youth basketball games'

http://www.masslive.com/news/index.ssf/2010/02/massachusetts_ymca_bans_parent.html

To make it short, I love it when fellow adults make assholes of them selves. I can't help but wonder how much of those parents used one of these lines before:

'They turned up that way because of bad parents'
'Bad friends.'
'Games'

Personally I'm with the ban absolutely, they screwed up so I say fuck 'em.

You cloned the thread BTW.

It is said that kids are a reflection of how their parents raised them, so obviously they want to impress their friends with their little 'trophies'.

Parents banned from basketball games? In my town, that would mean the stands would be empty...
