If you could have a portal gun in any FPS, what would it be and would would you do with it?

I, personally think it could really spice up Halo multiplayer, imagine all the great tactics you could do! From making traps that teleport players off the map to porting behind someone for an assassination, the possibilities are endless.

Oh, the fun. It'd piss so many people off. Combined with "No Fall Damage" from perks like Commando/Lightweight.

It's not an FPS, but I would love to play the games in the Assassins Creed series in FPS with a portal gun.

I would portal up to a tower, place a horizontal portal at its top, then leap of faith jump into the portal and shoot myself across the city. Then when I get to the target, I could sneak around the roof, plant a portal near the target, then slip in and out before anyone knows what I did. Finally, I would place a portal on a very high overhang, find one of those annoying beggars and plant the second portal at their feet and watch them fall 20 stories to their death.

Actually, any open world game with tall buildings would work.

Fallout 3.

Take a portal and shoot the river. You now have an inactive portal at the bottom of it. Now, fire it ANYWHERE ELSE and watch the water gush out at the bad guys.

Put a portal fun in any competitive FPS game where you can fall and die. Blue portal on top of tall area. Orange portal under all my enemies

If you leave one portal in the imperial city you could easily get back to it from anywhere in cyrodill. Though that level of technology in oblivionl would probably have out being accused of black magic.
