What Games,Books,Movies,Tv shows ect have you gone into thinking it would be bad, but you've found are surprisingly good?

I, for one, found the game Quantum of Solice to be good, dispite being a movie tie-in game.

Also, as much as I hate to admit it, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic is, well, good given the subject matter.

This except I'll readily admit it. Rainbow Dash is my favourite.

Judging by the trailer, Thor's going to body slam my expectations of that movie.

I also bought Red Dead Redemption thinking it would be garbage.

I was wrong. So wrong.

Honestly?

Hot Tub Time Machine.

I walked into the theater just certain that I was going to hate it. My friends basically had to drag me in there because I was so resistant.

They made me eat my words.

Now, that isn't to say that it's a GREAT movie or even a GOOD movie, but it's certainly not a HORRIBLE one either. I enjoyed myself a lot more than I ever expected to.

XD True.

Also my 28 Days Later is delayed due to embedding problems. >_>
Well, I'll have to get to it tomorrow then, or at least, late tonight, because I'm going out soon.

As for something else that exceeded my expectations, because I don't want to derail this thread too much, I'll go with the first Assassin's Creed. Didn't think it would be great, but I ended up enjoying it a lot.

Get Him To The Greek
Due Date

Those two comedies I watched last weekend with my friends. Did not have any expectations, but enjoyed the hell out of 'em.

There are a lot of others as well, but those being the most recent.

Monty Python and The Quest for the Holy Grail. I thought it would be horrible...It was epic.
Also Blade 2 and Blade 3. I thought they would be crap like all sequels...2 kinda was but 3 was awesome.

Men of War.

I thought it would just be some low-budget, half-done RTS. I was wrong of course, and while it is low budget, it is one of the best Real Time Strategy games I have ever played. Its multilayer is just so damn fun (although I kinda suck at it).
