Walked out of Dumb and Dumberer. I was working in the theatre at the time so I got in free, but I still feel riped off for my time spent there.

She isn't from China shes lived in a mythical land for over two centuries. As I have said in a previous post do you know the actual language spoken in Shangri-la? Because I love the assurance with which people say that mythical beings living in a magical land cant somehow learn to impart important information in an alien language if it saves the world.

Also mummies? I actually saw no mummies in the entire film. Not one scrap of bandage. It was merely called The mummy to identify it with the others. Like Prison break series two should have been called On the run as there were no prisons at all throughout!

Oh and I have never ever walked out of a film not even the remake of the WIckerman. I am that militant a film goer. May be reserving that for Deathrace!

I've never walked out of a M. Nightshalamyn film. Mainly because I avoid them like the plague, however if I'd seen Unbreakable in the theatres I'd have probably sat through it, left the room, hidden out in some cupboard and snuck into the next screening.

Meet the Spartans;
Saw about 30 minutes of it, Took the disc out of the player, broke it in four pieces, went down to the place where I had rented this .. "thing" and said "I would like to purchase these four".

And I've always considered myself forgiving towards films. I even saw "Scorpion King 2" all the way to the end.

That was a bloody horrendous piece of film

I will watch a bad film with a friend or two as long as a) we're mocking it and b) booze is involved somewhere.
Exactly, those were the only reasons I finished watching "Gabriel" and "The Scorpion King 2". Mostly for the booze though but the mocking was in place.

I've never walked out of a movie. I think that would be impolite. ^^; I have been tempted to twice though..

The first time was watching Cloverfield. Broken. I liked Cloverfield. But face it, that camera guy is running around too much and flailing to see a lot of scenes too clearly, so you need the sound. And the sound was broken. Constantly too loud or too soft. Too loud I could deal with, too soft was ridiculous. Impair all of my senses, why don't you!

The second time was seeing National Treasure 2. Anyone else notice it was more like National Treasure 1.3? Basically the EXACT SAME MOVIE with makeup on.. I saw it in the 2 dollar theater though, so it was alright.

Plus, I really enjoy the theater. Like Dane Cook, I see it as a Cinematic Experience, a jouuurrnneeey! Most of the time the giant screen and booming sound, the atmosphere, the popcorn and candy I paid too much for, it all comes together to make the movie great.

As far as DVDs.. My guy and I borrowed The Seeker from the library the other day and watched it last night.. Ok.. Kid inherits great powers over light, ability to cast it out, brighten up a room, and CONTROL FIRE! You see a scene where the kid gets angry and is BLOWING UP SHIZ in a tantrum. Later on, in actually dangerous situations, he just flails and runs around like a pansy. Icicles of death are falling on the kid's family and friends and he DOES NOT THINK TO MELT THEM! Please.. Gah.. Graaaah..

For movies I nearly walked out on:

Alone in the Dark. No comment necessary, a brick wall nearly sufficed to convince me I never saw it.

Also, with The Incredible Hulk (the 2003 one) I fell asleep for an hour, woke up, hadn't missed a thing, understood the rest of the movie. Talk about padding.

Edit: I also refuse to watch any Will Ferrel movie besides "A Night at Roxbury."

I have never walked out of the cinema because of a movie, but I have stopped watching Star Wars: Episode 1 when it was on TV. I saw Anikin during the ship race and thought to myself "This guy is the future Darth Vader? Are you kidding me?!" the damn race went on too long and it was boring...

I fell asleep during SW: Episode 2. Don't mix politics into a movie.. Now I appreciate the old SW 4-6 movies waaaay more than I used to.

Me and the boyfriend at the time started making out in the middle of Eragon or whatever it's called to make it more interesting. It sure made more sense.

all these films that derive all their comedy from sex and farts.. it pisses me off... also the movie Zodiac it spent the entire film building up to the end and then just ends with a message on the screen. no closure what so ever!!!

The Breakup, with Jennifer Aniston.
My sister dragged me to see it and it was horrible.
It just went on and on and on and nothing happened.
Eventually most people left the theater and the others were chatting through it about how bad it was. Eventually we walked out too.

Back to No Country For Old Men:
Decent movie but I had trouble staying focused on it.
When the abrupt ending came this caused me to miss the point.
What? It ended? How? What did he say? My friends couldn't tell me, they had missed it too.

Brokeback Mountain:
I don't get what the big fuzz about this movie was.
So ok, it's a gay love story... yet another one, yawn. (Here in Europe, they are pretty common)
Again, nothing happened and half the movie I was thinking it was an hour to long.
I did like the music a lot though.

Being the total movie geek that I am, I watch movies of any and all genres, and it is incredibly rare that I will turn off a movie before it ends, a few that not even I have had the will power to sit through include:

21 Grams - Everyone says it was such a great movie, to me it just seemed like the editor got lazy and said "Fuck it, I'm not even gonna put these scenes in order, I'd rather give the audience a headache."

Scary Movie 3 & 4/Date Movie/Epic Movie/Superhero Movie/Meet The Spartans/Disaster Movie - To me they're all exactly the same, a bunch of juvenile toilet humor (Which isn't even good for cheap laughs) and a few scenes of Carmen Electra in her underwear. Disaster Movie isn't even out yet and I know I'm going to be forced into watching it and walking out about 10 minutes in.

The Fog - I fell asleep in the movie theatre, nuff said.

Grindhouse - I just barely made it through the tragedy that was Death Proof, took a five minute break to tell myself that Planet Terror couldn't possibly be as bad. I popped it in and turned it off twenty minutes later. Tarantino and Rodriguez failed me this time.

Those are the movies that I can remember (For now) that I never got to the end of, and have no desire to.
