I really should get round to playing the Japanese ones before 7, but I never got round to it.
Having been reminded of what blazing sword is, I would change my answer to that, as portability is a big reason I enjoy those games.

This is hard for me because EA had a part in Timesplitters 3, one of my favourite games of all time. But seeing as nowadays i'm terrified of them putting their grubby hands on it again, given their business practice of recent I'd have to go with Microsoft. However, they're using Rare to make avatar games, which is the equivalent of using a minigun to take out a mosquito, and that's where Timesplitters' developers came from, which gains them a lot of respect in my eyes as the direct inspiration for Timesplitters as a series, given the success of Goldeneye...

Uh...pass? FINE. Microsoft. I use their OS, so might as well show them I'm grateful.
