I need a good game to play, but, as the title says, I'm picky. FPS don't like me, all I have is a 360, and it can't be an M rated game; but it at least can be M for simple things, like violence, which seems to be the main trait that all Ms have. So....

Any good games out there?

EDIT: I guess I should mention that I'm too poor to get Live. I was in too much of a rush to get a 360 that I failed to think about Online stuff. Frickin' card being 100 bucks... But I digress

Chess.

Hmm... no FPS and xbox 360 console...
This restricts your choices a lot. Unless you like rhythm games (Guitar Hero, Rock Band) or budget titles, you're going to have a hell of a time finding anything you're specifically looking for.

Exchanging funds for goods and services is a pretty common practice.

Well.... do you have Live? Even if you do or don't I still recommend the Orange Box. Portal and the Half-Life 2 games can keep you occupied until you beat them. Team Fortress 2 (an online-only game) can provide endless fun if you have Live.

well if you can find the orange box you can get portal and team fortress 2 as mentioned by every one else portal is a puzzel game, while team fortress 2 is a cartoony voilence kind of game, it's voilent like body parts fly off but it's not a very serious game and the game it's self is only $20

Oblivion won't steer you wrong once you understand the leveling system. Which mean, read the manual. Castle Crashers is pretty sweet, too.

I'd try portal. It's very different and for one reason or another it's hard not to enjoy somewhat. It's 1st person but you don't really have to be a fps kinda player to survive. Kinda. Oh and welcome to the escapist. Tifa owns.

This list sucks.

She should go with Rez.

There's always Knights of the Old Republic, that's a wise choice (the sequel is too).

Halo Wars is also pretty good, but try the demo first. Very niche audience game.

Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect if you haven't played already.

Also, where do you live to have 13 month Live subscription cost $100? That's double it's suggested retail price in America.

I highley recommend Tales of Vesperia(RPG), Mirror's Edge(Platformer), and Portal: Still Alive(Puzzle). Overlord(Hack n' Slash) was also pretty good, just not on any of my favorites lists. All are T rated as well. Vesperia was my favore game from last year. Highley addictive if you enjoy JRPGs. Even if you don't, the real time combat may change your mind. A mix of fighting game and RPG elements, and I normally hate fighting games. If you like achievements, that will add months to your playing time as they take ages. Mirror's Edge was pretty underrated I think. Rather then summarize my opinion, might as well read this [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.80352#1047694]. Portal, well what can I say about Portal that has not already been said? Just buy it already.

I was told there was some kinda of WiFi chip or something that connects to the webbernet. I only have so much money so I went for the lowest priced 360 I could find, which didn't provide said chip or whatever. I'm sure by next summer I could afford it, but I need something to keep me going until then

And Vesperia is the sole reason I bought the 360 =D So now that I've beaten it, I'm out of things to do

The elder scrolls 4 has violence but It's M so you might like that. Plus it's older so you can probably get a cheaper copy. Try to get game of the year edition though, it comes with extra stuff.

Checked box "Moderate Fantasy Violence".

Spells, swords, axes and bows.

edit: quick backstory. You are hero, save world, RPG, fun, long, lot to do, can assassinate/rob/help people, comes in a fancy green box.
